Pacific:

— Much of western WA: Winter Weather Advisories this morning. Up to 2 inches of snow. Snow levels 200 feet. I-5, I-90, US-101 impacted.

Much of eastern WA; northern ID and adjacent northwest MT: Winter Weather Advisories through this afternoon. 2-5 inches snow accumulation; higher amounts above 3000 feet. I-90, US-395 impacted.

Western and south-central OR; northern CA extending south to the North Bay area foothills: Winter Storm Warnings and Advisories through this evening. Snow accumulations 1-4 inches below 1000 feet, 2-6 inches above 1000 feet and 6-12 inches above 3000 feet. I-5, US-97, US-101, US-395 impacted.

CA Sierra Nevada: BLIZZARD and Winter Storm Warnings continue through early Wednesday morning. An additional 2-5 feet of snow expected. Wind gusts to 60 mph. I-80, US-50 impacted.

Central CA Coastal Ranges: Winter Weather Advisories this morning through this afternoon. Snow levels at 2500 feet and 5-10 inches snow possible above 3000 feet. Wind gusts 40-50 mph. CA-1 impacted.

— Central CA Big Sur Coast and adjacent interior: Wind Advisory this afternoon and tonight. Gusts to 45 mph. US-101, CA-1 impacted.

Southern CA Mountains from Santa Barbara to San Diego Counties: Winter Storm Warnings through Wednesday evening. Snow accumulations will be 2-6 inches below 5000 feet and 8-16 inches above 5000 feet. Wind gusts 50-60 mph. Snow levels around 4000 feet today, dropping to 2000 feet by Wednesday. I-5, I-8, I-10, I-15 impacted.

Much of Southern CA; southern NV: High Wind Warnings (Mojave Desert, Imperial Valley, Mountains) and Advisories through late this evening. Wind gusts generally 55-65 mph, except near 75 mph in the San Diego County Mountains and Imperial Valley. I-5, I-8, I-10, I-15, I-40, US-93, US-95, US-101, US-395, CA-58 impacted.

Mountain:

Much of north-central and eastern MT: Winter Weather Advisories this afternoon and tonight. 2-4 inches snow and wind gusts to 35 mph. I-94 impacted.

Eastern ID, western WY and adjacent southwest MT: Winter Storm Warnings and Advisories continue today. Up to 6 more inches of snow at lower elevations and a foot in the mountains. Wind gusts to 45 mph. I-15, I-80 impacted.

Southeast and south-central WY: High Wind Warnings today. Gusts to 70 mph. I-25, I-80 impacted.

Much of the higher elevations in UT; southwest CO: Winter Storm Warnings and Watches (southeast UT, southwest CO) through early Thursday morning. 6-16 inches of snow. I-15, I-70, I-80 impacted.

Central and west-central CO: Winter Weather Advisories today above 9000 feet. Snow and blowing snow. 4-8 inches additional accumulation and wind gusts 55-65 mph I-70 impacted.

Northwest, west-central, central, and east-central AZ above 4000 feet; portions of western and north-central NM: Winter Storm Warnings and Watches (NM)) Wednesday and Thursday. 6-24 inches, wind gusts 35-45 mph. I-17, I-40 impacted.

Northwest, southwest and southeast AZ: Wind Advisories through Wednesday evening. Gusts 50-55 mph. I-8, I-10, I-19 impacted.

South-central and southeast CO; much of eastern NM: High Wind Warnings (CO) and Advisories today. Gusts 55-65 mph. I-25, I-40 impacted.

Central:

— Southwest KS; western OK; much of western TX: Strong winds this afternoon. Gusts to 40 mph. I-10, I-20, I-27, I-40 impacted.

Much of far-west and southwest TX: High Wind Watch Thursday. Gusts to 75 mph. I-10, I-20 impacted.

Central and southern ND; northern SD; central MN; northwest WI: Winter Storm Warnings (ND) and Advisories this afternoon and Wednesday. Accumulations 4-9 inches. Wind gusts to 45 mph in the Dakotas. I-29, I-35, I-94 impacted.

Southwest SD: Wind Advisory this afternoon and evening. Gusts to 55 mph. US-83, US-385 impacted.

— Parts of central TX and the TX Gulf Coast; central and southwest LA: Dense Fog Advisories this morning. I-10, I-35, I-37, I-49 impacted.

Northeast TX; central and southern AR; northern LA; northern MS: Severe thunderstorms Wednesday. Damaging winds, large hail and a couple of tornadoes all possible. I-20, I-22, I-30, I-40, I-55 potentially impacted.

Eastern TX; southeast OK; much of AR; southwest and south-central TN; much of AL; MS; LA: A significant regional severe weather outbreak looks possible Thursday and Thursday night. Damaging winds, large hail and tornadoes all possible. I-10, I-20, I-22, I-30, I-35, I-40, I-35, I-40, I-49, I-55, I-59, I-65, I-85 potentially impacted.

Much of central, eastern and southern TN; northern MS; northern AL: Slight risk of flash flooding Wednesday and Wednesday night. 2-4 inches of rain possible. I-22, I-24, I-40, I-55, I-65, I-75 potentially impacted.

Eastern OK; northeast TX; southern MO; most of AR; southern IL; Western KY and TN; northwest MS: Significant risk for Flash Flooding Thursday and Thursday night. Greatest risk over central and northern AR and western TN. Up to 3-7 inches of rain possible. I-22, I-30, I-40, I-44, I-55 potentially impacted.

Eastern:

North-central and northeast PA; northern NJ; most of central and eastern NY; CT; RI; MA; most of VT and NH; central and southern ME: Winter Storm Warnings and Advisories through tonight. Total storm accumulation 2-8 inches snow. Highest amounts in the north and east of this region. Warnings and Advisories will end from southwest to northeast starting midday today. I-80, I-81, I-84, I-87, I-88, I-90, I-91, I-93, I-95, Mass Pike, NY Thruway impacted.
