** Heads Up ** RVers will want to avoid the North Carolina, Tidewater Virgnia, DELMARVA and southern New Jersey Coasts this weekend. A strong storm, which may or may not become named, will produce wind gusts up to 60 mph, 2-5 inches of rain, and 2-5 feet of storm surge.


  • Potential Tropical Storm Sixteen brings high winds, storm surge and heavy rains to the Carolina and Mid-Atlantic coasts today and Saturday.
  • Early taste of winter for the higher elevations of the northern Rockies continues for one more day; high winds tomorrow for southeast Wyoming.
  • Severe weather threat for much of the eastern Plains Saturday.
