These are the most significant weather impacts to RV travel over the next two to three days. I do not list every area of rain, showers, or breezy winds. It would be exhausting.

Weather Impacts Pacific Time Zone:

– West Central WA and OR: Red Flag (Fire Weather) Warning in effect through Wednesday evening. Outflow winds from thunderstorms up to 35 mph expected. US-2, US-12, US-20, US-26 impacted.

– Southeastern OR: Flood Watch in effect through Wednesday evening. Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. US-20, US-395 impacted.

– Southern OR and Northeast CA: Red Flag (Fire Weather) Warning in effect through Wednesday evening. Abundant lighting on dry ground leaves potential for new fires. Outflow winds from thunderstorms expected around 35-50 mph. US-97, US-395 impacted.

– Northeast and East Central CA: Flood Watch in effect through Wednesday evening. Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall possible in thunderstorms. I-80, US-6, US-50, US-395 impacted.

Weather Impacts Mountain Time Zone:

– Most of ID, Southwest MT, and Northeast NV: Flood Watch in effect through Wednesday evening. Flash Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. I-15, I-80, I-84, US-6, US-12, US-26, US-30, US-50, US-93, US-95, US-191, US-287 impacted.

Weather Impacts Central Time Zone:

– Most of KS, Northern OK, Southwest MO, and Northwest AR: Excessive rainfall may lead to localized flooding on Wednesday and Thursday. Rainfall amounts of 1-3 inches expected.

– Southern Plains: Isolated severe thunderstorms possible Thursday. Damaging winds greater than 58 mph and large hail over an inch in diameter possible.

Weather Impacts Eastern Time Zone:

– Interior New England (VT, NH, Western ME, and most of MA): Areas of patchy fog expected Thursday morning. Visibilities less than a quarter of a mile expected.

– Most of WV: Areas of patchy fog expected Thursday morning. Visibilities less than a quarter of a mile expected.

– South FL (Miami Metro): Heat Advisory in effect through Wednesday evening. Heat indices (Feels Like) values up to 108°F expected. I-75, I-95, US-1, US-27, US-41 impacted.
