Pacific:
— Southern and much of interior Central CA; adjacent western AZ; southern NV: Excessive Heat Watches for the remainder of this week, starting Tuesday. High temperatures will range from 100-110 deg F in the San Joaquin Valley to 105-115 deg F in the Mojave and southern Deserts and 115-123 deg F in Death Valley. I-5, I-8, I-10, I-15, I-40, CA-58, CA-99 among the highways impacted.
Mountain:
— Portions of south-central AZ: Excessive Heat Watch Tuesday and Wednesday. High temperatures 105-110 deg F. I-10, I-17 impacted.
— Southeast NM and portions of western TX: Flash Flood Watches this afternoon through Tuesday afternoon for excessive rainfall. Locally 1-3 inches of rainfall are possible. I-10, I-20 potentially impacted.
Central:
— Portions of western TX: Flash Flood Watches this afternoon through Tuesday afternoon for excessive rainfall. Locally 1-3 inches of rainfall are possible. I-10, I-20 potentially impacted.
— North-central and eastern ND: Strong winds through mid-afternoon. Gusts 30-40 mph. I-29, I-94 impacted.
— Eastern IA; far-southern MN; northern and central IL; southern MI; northern and central IN; northwest OH: Scattered severe thunderstorms are likely today through this evening. Damaging winds are the greatest threat. Area at greatest risk is northern IL, including the Chicago region. Major highways potentially impacted include I-39, I-43, I-55, I-57, I-64, I-69, I-74, I-75, I-80, I-88, I-90, I-94, IN Toll Road.
Eastern:
— Portions of interior northeast and north-central FL: Flash Flood Watch through late tonight for excessive rainfall. I-10, I-75 potentially impacted.
