Weather Impacts Pacific Time Zone:

Southwest and south-central OR; northern and northeast CA; northwest NV: Strong winds develop Sunday afternoon and continue into Sunday night. Wind gusts 30-50 mph. I-5, US-20, US-97, US-101, US-395 impacted.

Northeast CA: Winter Storm Watch above 5500 feet and west of US-395 Sunday evening through Monday evening. Heavy snow. 6-12 inches of new snow. Wind gusts to 60 mph. US-395 impacted.

CA northern and central Sierra Nevada above 4000 feet: Winter Storm Watch Sunday evening through Tuesday evening. 1-3 feet of snow and wind gusts to 55 mph. I-80, US-50 impacted.

Southern CA Mojave Desert Slopes: Wind Advisory continues through this evening. Wind gusts to 55 mph. US-395, CA-14, CA-58 impacted.

— Southern CA western Mojave Desert: Wind Advisory continues for early this morning. Wind gusts to 45 mph. I-15, I-40, US-395, CA-58 impacted.

Southern CA Santa Barbara County, Ventura County, San Gabriel Mountains and CA-14 corridor: Wind Advisories this morning. Wind gusts to 50 mph. I-5, US-101, CA-14 impacted.

Southern CA San Gorgonio Pass (I-10 near Palm Springs): Wind Advisory this morning. Gusts to 60 mph. I-10 impacted.

Interior southern CA San Diego County Deserts: Wind Advisory this morning. Gusts to 55 mph. I-8, CA-78 impacted.

Weather Impacts Mountain Time Zone:

Much of southwest, central and south-central MT; portions of northwest and west-central WY; north-central WY Big Horn Range: A combination of Winter Storm Warnings, Watches and Advisories this evening through Sunday. 1-4 inches snow in the valleys, 4-8 inches on the Passes and 6-12 inches in the mountains. I-15, I-90, US-12, US-20, US-26, US-89, US-191, US-287 impacted.

Central ID; western WY; north-central and northeast UT: Snow this afternoon into Sunday morning. 2-6 inch accumulations will be common at Pass Level. I-15, I-80, I-84, US-6, US-14, US-16, US-20, US-26, US-30, US-40, US-89, US-93, US-95 impacted.

— South-central WY Sierra Madre Range: Winter Weather Advisory this evening through midday today. Up to 6 inches of snow above 9000 feet.

Central and southwest CO: Snow develops late this afternoon and continues through Sunday. 2-6 inch accumulations will be common. I-70, US-24, US-34, US-40, US-50 impacted.

— South-central CO; northern and eastern AZ; most of NM and adjacent far-west TX: Strong winds this afternoon and evening. Wind gusts 30-45 mph. Red Flag (fire danger) Warnings cover most of NM and west TX. I-10, I-17, I-19, I-25, I-40, US-50, US-54, US-60, US-64, US-70, US-82, US-89, US-160, US-285 impacted.

— South-central UT; north-central, central and eastern AZ; central and south-central CO; western and central NM: Strong winds Sunday afternoon and evening. Wind gusts to 40 mph. Red Flag (fire danger) Warnings cover most of NM and west TX. I-10, I-15, I-17, I-25, I-40, I-70, US-60, US-64, US-70, US-84, US-89, US-191, US-380 impacted.

Weather Impacts Central Time Zone:

Northwest and north-central NE; most of central and eastern SD; much of southwest, central and northeast MN: Winter Weather Advisories today and Sunday. A mixture of snow, sleet and freezing rain will bring 2-4 inches of wet snow and up to 1/10th of an inch of ice. Wind gusts to 35 mph. I-29, I-35, I-90, I-94, US-10, US-12, US-14, US-18, US-20, US-71, US-75, US-81, US-83 impacted.

Most of central and northern WI: ICE STORM WARNINGS and Winter Storm Warnings through Sunday. Up to 2 inches of snow and up to 3/4 inch of ice expected. I-39, US-8, US-41, US-45, US-51 impacted.

— Eastern SD; central and southwest NE; parts of central and eastern KS: Strong winds this afternoon. Wind gusts 30-35 mph. I-29, I-35, I-70, I-80, I-90 impacted.

— Eastern ND; eastern SD; eastern NE; southwest MN; northwest and north-central IA: Strong winds Sunday afternoon. Wind gusts 30-35 mph. I-29, I-35, I-80, I-90, I-94 impacted.

— Western OK and western TX: Red Flag (fire danger) Warnings late this morning through this evening. Wind gusts to 35 mph. I-10, I-20, I-27, I-40, US-60, US-62 US-64, US-82, US-84, US-90, US-380 impacted.

Central, north-central and northeast OK; south-central and southeast KS; southwest and west-central MO: Widely scattered severe thunderstorms are possible today and tonight. All hazards are possible, including very large hail. I-35, I-40, I-44, I-70 potentially impacted.

Southeast TX; central and southern LA and adjacent southwest MS: Flood Watches continue through this evening. Widespread rainfall totals of 1-3 inches are expected, with local amounts reaching 5-7 inches. I-10, I-12, I-49, I-55, I-59 impacted.

— Southeast LA; southern and eastern MS; AL; FL Panhandle: Strong and severe thunderstorms are expected on Monday. I-10, I-12, I-20, I-22 ,I-55, I-59, I-65, I-85 impacted.

Weather Impacts Eastern Time Zone:

MI Upper Peninsula and northern MI Lower Peninsula: ICE STORM WARNINGS and Winter Storm Warnings through Sunday evening. 3-7 inches of sleet and snow and 1/2 inch of ice may accumulate I-75, US-2, US-41 impacted.

Upstate NY along and north of I-90; northwest and north-central MA; VT; NH; ME: Winter Storm Warnings and Advisories through Sunday night. 1-4 inches of snow and up to 4/10ths of an inch of ice accumulation expected. I-87, I-89, I-90, I-91, I-93, I-95, US-1, US-7, US-9, US-11, NY Thruway impacted.

Much of central and southeast NY; eastern, central and southwest PA; NJ; MD; WV; DC; DE; VA; NC; SC; GA; FL Panhandle: Strong to severe thunderstorms possible on Monday for most of the Eastern US. Major highways along and east of the Appalachians from FL northwards to NY potentially impacted.
