  • Strong to severe thunderstorms: Isolated large hail and a tornado or two are expected Monday afternoon and evening across eastern and northeast Texas, southeast Oklahoma, central and southern Arkansas, northern Louisiana and Mississippi.
  • Rain, some heavy: Rain develops Sunday afternoon, spreading east and north with 1 to 4 inches likely by Tuesday morning across northern and eastern Texas, southeast Oklahoma and much of Arkansas, bringing localized flash flooding.

Weather Impacts Pacific Time Zone:

— Western and central WA; western OR: Rain moves in from west to east late tonight and Sunday. 1-3 inches of rainfall in the WA mountains; 1/4 to 1/2 inch of rain elsewhere. I-5, I-84, I-90, US-101, US-2, US-12, US-20, US-26 impacted.

WA Cascades; OR northern and central Cascade Mountains: Snow develops tonight across the WA northern Casades, then moves south on Sunday and Sunday night. Snow levels start at 5500 feet tonight, drop to 4500 feet on Sunday and lower again to 2500 feet Sunday night. Up to 3 inches of snow on Snoqualmie Pass by Monday morning, with greater amounts on the higher passes. I-90, US-2, US-12 impacted.

— South-central WA, lower Columbia Basin: Dense Fog Advisory through late this morning. I-82, US-12, US-395 impacted.

— Southwest WA; northwest and west-central OR I-5 corridor from Vancouver WA southward through the Willamette Valley: Dense Fog Advisories through midday today. I-5, I-84, US-20, US-26, US-30 impacted.

— Southwest OR: Dense Fog Advisory through late this morning. I-5, US-199 impacted.

— Northeast NV: Freezing Fog Advisory this morning. US-93 impacted.

— Central CA San Joaquin Valley between Merced and Bakersfield: Dense Fog Advisories through midday today. I-5, CA-33, CA-41, CA-43, CA-59, CA-65, CA-99, CA-145, CA-152, CA-180, CA-198 impacted.

Southern CA Riverside County, and San Bernardio County Mountains: Winter Storm Warnings continue this morning. Heavy wet snow above 6500 ft. Additional snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. I-15, CA-18, CA-38, CA-74, CA-138, CA-371 impacted.

— Southern CA Santa Clarita, Santa Monica, Ventura County, Malibu Coast and Santa Monica Mountains: Wind Advisory continues through this afternoon. Wind gusts to 40 mph. I-15, US-101, CA-1, CA-14, CA-23, CA-118, CA-126

Weather Impacts Mountain Time Zone:

Northern and central ID; western MT: Snow develops Sunday night and continues through Monday. Snow levels start at 5500 feet Sunday night, lowering to 2000 feet by Monday. 3-6 inches snow expected on Lookout Pass (I-90) by Monday morning. I-90, US-2, US-12, US-93, US-95 impacted.

— Northwest MT Rocky Mountain Front: Strong winds continue into Sunday night. Wind gusts to 45 mph. US-2, US-89 impacted.

— South-central and southeast ID: Dense Fog Advisories through late this morning. I-15, US-20 US-26, US-93 impacted.

— A portion of northeast CO: Dense Fog Advisory this morning. I-25, I-76, US-34, US-85 impacted.

Central CO above 8500 feet: Snow develops Sunday afternoon and Sunday night. Up to 3 inches at the higher passes. I-70, US-24, US-40 impacted.

Southwest CO; north-central NM: Winter Weather Advisories tonight through midnight Sunday. 3-8 inches accumulation likely. US-64, US-84, US-160, US-550 impacted.

— Central and eastern AZ; much of central and northern NM: Rain and rain showers tonight and Sunday morning. Rainfall amounts generally 1/2 inch or less. I-10, I-17, I-19, I-25, I-40, US-54, US-56, US-64, US-87 impacted.

— Northeast NM: Freezing Fog Advisory this morning. I-25, I-40, US-54, US-56, US-60, US-64, US-84 impacted.

— Southeast AZ and southwest NM: Strong winds this afternoon and evening. Wind gusts 30-35 mph. I-10, I-19, US-70 impacted.

Weather Impacts Central Time Zone:

— Eastern ND; parts of western and south-central SD: Strong winds today. Wind gusts 30-35 mph. I-29, I-90, I-94 impacted.

— Northeast AR; western TN; most of MS; parts of eastern LA; southwest AL; western FLPanhandle: Dense Fog Advisories this morning. I-10, I-12, I-20, I-22, I-40, I-55, I-57, I-59, I-65, I-69 impacted.

— TX Panhandle along the I-40 corridor: Dense Fog Advisory this morning. I-27, I-40 impacted.

Much of north-central, central and southern TX west of I-35: Isolated severe thunderstorms are possible on Sunday. Large hail is the primary hazard. I-10, I-20, I-35 potentially impacted.

Eastern and northeast TX; southeast OK; central and southern AR; northern LA and MS: Strong to severe thunderstorms are expected Monday afternoon and evening. Isolated large hail and a tornado or two will be the primary hazards. I-10, I-20, I-30, I-35, I-40, I-45, I-49, I-55, I-57 potentially impacted.

Central and eastern TX; eastern OK; southern MO; AR; northern and western LA; western KY and TN; northern MS: Rain, some heavy, develops Sunday afternoon, then spreads east and north. By Tuesday morning 1-4 inches of rainfall will be likely across northern and eastern TX, southeast OK and much of AR with localized flash flooding. I-10, I-20, I-22, I-24, I-30, I-35, I-40, I-45, I-49, I-55, I-57, I-69 impacted.

Weather Impacts Eastern Time Zone:

— Northern MI Lake Superior Coastline: Strong winds tonight and Sunday morning. Wind gusts to 40 mph. US-41 impacted.

— NY Adirondack Mountains; VT Green Mountains: Snow develops Sunday, continuing into Sunday night. 1-3 inches of accumulation. I-87, I-89, US-7, US-9 impacted.

— Portions of northern and central FL; south-central GA: Dense Fog this morning. I-4, I-75, I-95, US-1, US-82, US-84 impacted.
