Three things to know about weather for RVers and travelers Friday 23 June (updated for Montana snow)

Delivered to your in-box each morning.

Starting Monday morning, 27 November, this site will be down for a major upgrade. RVWeather.com will return no later than Wednesday 29 November — sooner if possible. When the site returns, WILMA, our NEW(!) integrated weather impacts product, will be available. The Paywall will also be implemented. RV Weather will continue to provide free access to essential, RV-relevant National Weather Service Warnings and Advisories, current weather, and weather safety information. While the main site is off-line, I will post a simple forecast to my email list and to RVWeather on Facebook.

Happy Summer Solstice! Enjoy the longest day(light) of the year!

Tropical Storm Bret moved through the western Caribbean islands last night and is now weakening. It is likely to dissipate this weekend somewhere south of Jamaica. No threat to the continental U.S.

Tropical Storm Cindy strengthened overnight. It is now about 1000 miles east of the eastern Caribbean islands and is moving to the west-northwest. Cindy is expected to dissipate by the middle of next week between the Bahamas and Bermuda. Very little, if any, chance of this storm impacting the U.S. We’ll monitor this system. No need to change any RV or travel plans. You can click on the last graphic in this forecast for the latest updates from the National Hurricane Center.
