Pacific:
— WA southern Cascade Mountains; OR Cascades; southwest WA, OR and northwest CA coastal Mountains: Winter Storm Watches above 2500 feet Thursday and Friday. Snow accumulation could reach 1-2 feet in the Cascades and 6-12 inches in the coastal ranges. Wind gusts to 40 mph. I-5 (Grants Pass), US-101 potentially impacted.
— Central and east-central NV: Flood Watches through this afternoon. Flooding caused by a combination of rain and snowmelt. US-6, US-50, US-93 impacted.
— Central CA coastal area between San Francisco and Monterey Bay: Flood Advisories continue through midday today. US-101, CA-1 potentially impacted.
— Much of central and southern CA below 4000 feet: Flood Watches and Advisories through this evening due to heavy rains, saturated soils and already high stream levels. Major highways potentially impacted include I-5, I-8, I-10, I-15, US-101, CA-1, CA-99.
— Southern CA Sierra Nevada Mountains: Winter Storm Warnings through late this evening. Total snow accumulations 1-4 feet of snow above 4000 feet with wind gusts to 60 mph.
— Southern CA Coastal Mountains from Santa Barbara to San Diego Counties: Winter Storm Warnings and Advisories through early Thursday morning. Additional accumulations 3-10 inches above 4000 feet and 2-3 feet of snow above 6000 feet. Wind gusts 60-70 mph. The passes on I-5 (Grapevine), I-8, and I-15 impacted.
Mountain:
— Southeast ID; much of WY: Winter Weather Advisories through late this evening. Snow accumulations will range from 2-4 inches in the valleys and Plains, to a foot or so over the higher passes and in the Mountains. I-15, I-25, I-80, I-84, I-90, US-26, US-89 impacted.
— Southeast WY: High Wind Watches through tonight. Gusts to 60 mph. I-25, I-80 impacted.
— North-central and northeast, central and southwest UT; central and western CO; north-central NM: Winter Storm Warnings and Advisories through late tonight. Total snow accumulations of 1-3 feet likely. Wind gusts 55-70 mph. This region is west of I-25. I-15, I-70, I-80, I-84 impacted.
— Portions of northern AZ above 6500 feet: Winter Storm Warnings through this evening. Snow accumulations generally 2-6 inches. Wind gusts to 55 mph this morning, slowly decreasing throughout the day. I-17, I-40 impacted.
— West-central and central AZ: Flash Flood Watches through this evening due to excessive rainfall. Rainfall amounts may total 1-2 inches. I-17, I-40 potentially impacted.
— Much of eastern and southeast AZ: Wind Advisories through this afternoon. Gusts 45-55 mph. I-19 and Tucson are west of this advisory area. I-10, I-40 impacted.
— South-central and southeast CO; eastern, central and southern NM; adjacent northwest TX and far-west OK Panhandles: High Wind Warnings and Advisories through this evening. Wind gusts 50-70 mph. Strongest winds will be over central, east-central and northeast NM and CO late this morning through mid-afternoon with wind gusts 65-70 mph. I-10, I-25, I-40, US-24 impacted.
Central:
— West-central SD: Winter Weather Advisory this afternoon and tonight. 2 inches snow likely. I-90 impacted.
— North-central NE: Winter Weather Advisory this evening through Thursday morning. Mixed precipitation possible. Up to 3 inches of snow, along with a light glaze of ice. US-20, US-83 impacted.
— Central and northwest KS; adjacent northeast CO and southwest NE: Dense Fog Advisories through midday today. I-35, I-70, US-34, US-36 impacted.
— Western KS; western OK; TX Panhandle: Strong winds this afternoon and early evening. Wind gusts to 50 mph. I-27, I-40, I-70 impacted.
— Northern MO; southern IA; north-central IL: Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms capable of large hail are possible late tonight. I-29, I-35, I-70, I-72, I-74, I-80 potentially impacted.
— West-central and north-central TX; central and eastern OK: Severe thunderstorms capable of large hail and damaging winds possible between Thursday afternoon and Friday morning. There is a possibility these severe storms will extend north and east through MO, into IL and northwest IN. I-10, I-20, I-35, I-40, I-44 impacted.
— AR; LA and adjacent eastern TX; MS; western and northern AL; western TN and KY: Supercell severe thunderstorms will be capable of producing large hail, damaging wind gusts and strong tornadoes Friday. Greatest risk over eastern LA, western MS and southeast AR. I-10, I-12, I-20, I-22, I-24, I-30, I-40, I-55, I-59, I-65 potentially impacted.
