Pacific:

CA Northern and central Sierra Nevada Mountains: Winter Weather Advisory continue through this morning above 4500 feet. Additional accumulations of 2-10 inches snow and wind gusts to 45 mph. I-80, US-50 impacted.

West-central NV and adjacent east-central CA including Mono County: Wind Advisories this morning. Gusts to 50 mph. US-95, US-395 impacted.

Central and east-central NV: Wind Advisories through this evening. Gusts to 55 mph. I-80, US-6, US-50, US-93 impacted.

Southeast CA Mojave Desert: Wind Advisory this afternoon and evening. Gusts to 50 mph. I-15, I-40, US-395, CA-58 impacted.

Southern CA Mountains, Coachella and Imperial Valleys: Wind Advisories this afternoon through late tonight. Gusts 50-60 mph. I-8, I-10, I-15 impacted.

Mountain:

Much of northern and east-central ID; southwest MT; northwest and west-central WY: Winter Weather Advisories through this evening. Snow accumulations generally 2-5 inches, more in highest terrain. Wind gusts to 40 mph. I-15, I-90, US-89, US-26 impacted.

Central and north-central MT: Winter Storm Warnings, Watches and Advisories this evening through Thursday. Total snow accumulations between 8 inches and 2 feet by Thursday. Wind gusts to 60 mph. I-15, US-87 impacted.

— Much of north-central and northeast MT: Flood Advisories through midday today from a combination of rain and snowmelt. Some roadways and low water crossings may be flooded.

— Northeast MT: Winter Storm Watch late tonight through Thursday. 4-11 inches snow possible and wind gusts to 45 mph. US-2 impacted.

Portions of south-central and southeast ID: Wind Advisories this afternoon and evening. Gusts to 50 mph. I-15, I-84 impacted.

North-central UT and adjacent southeast ID: Winter Weather Advisories through this evening. 6-12 inches snow and wind gusts to 40 mph. I-80 impacted.

Southeast and east-central WY: High Wind Warnings and Watches this morning through Wednesday morning. Gusts 45-65 mph. I-25, I-80 impacted.

Central and eastern WY: Isolated severe thunderstorms possible this afternoon and evening. Large hail and damaging winds are the primary hazards. I-25, I-80 potentially impacted.

Much of eastern UT and western CO; most of northern, central and northeast AZ; west-central and northwest NM: Wind Advisories today and Wednesday, Gusts 45-55 mph. I-17, I-40, I-70 impacted.

NM and far-west TX; central and eastern CO: Red Flag (fire danger) Warnings today and Wednesday. Wind gusts 45-55 mph. I-10, I-25, I-40, I-70, I-76 impacted.

Central:

— Northwest ND: Winter Storm Watch tonight through Thursday evening. 4-12 inches snow possible and wind gusts to 35 mph. US-2 impacted.

— Much of central and south-central, southeast ND; adjacent west-central MN: FLOOD WARNINGS continue. Flooding from snowmelt occurring in much of the James and Red River Valleys. Numerous roads closed. I-29, I-94 potentially impacted.

Portions of western SD: High Wind Watches tonight through Wednesday evening. Gusts 60-65 mph. I-90 impacted.

Western NE; far-west KS; western OK and TX Panhandles; far-west TX: Red Flag (fire danger) Warnings today and Wednesday. Wind gusts 35-50 mph. I-10, I-20, I-27, I-40, I-70, I-80 impacted.

— Central KS: Wind Advisories tonight. Gusts to 45 mph. I-35, I-70 impacted.

— Northeast MN; northwest WI: Flood Advisories through this afternoon due to snowmelt. I-35 potentially impacted.

Central and southern SD; southwest MN; western IA; northern, central and eastern NE; northern and western KS; parts of western OK and TX: Isolated severe thunderstorms possible this afternoon and evening. Large hail and damaging winds are the primary hazards. Strongest storms this evening into tonight. I-20, I-29, I-40, I-70, I-80, I-90 impacted.

Much of IA; southeast NE; northeast and central KS; central OK: Severe thunderstorms with potential for large hail and wind damage possible Wednesday and Wednesday night. I-29, I-35, I-40, I-70, I-80 potentially impacted.

— Southeast MO; most of AR; northwest LA; northeast and east-central TX: Severe thunderstorms possible Thursday afternoon and evening. I-20, I-30, I-40, I-45, I-49 potentially impacted.

— Southeast MO; most of AR; southeast OK; northeast TX: Slight risk of flash flooding from heavy rains Thursday and Thursday night. 1-3 inches rain probable with locally higher amounts. I-20, I-30, I-40 potentially impacted.

Eastern:

— Much of WV; VA; central and eastern MD: Red Flag (fire danger) Warnings through this evening. Wind gusts 30-40 mph. I-64, I-66, I-70, I-77, 79, I-81, I-95, US-13, US-219 impacted.

Eastern WV: Wind Advisory today. Gusts to 50 mph. US-219 impacted.
