Central and southern Texas: Flash flooding remains possible Thursday into early Friday, with another 2 to 4 inches, locally higher, over compromised soils and areas with ongoing flooding. The greatest flash-flood risk will be across central and southern Texas. I-10, I-20, US-67, US-79, US-83, US-84, US-87, US-90, US-180, US-190, US-277, US-285, US-290, US-385 potentially impacted.

South-central Louisiana: FLASH FLOOD WARNING continues until 9 AM CDT in Lafayette Parish, where 1 to 3 inches of rain fell in the past hour and flash flooding of streets, underpasses, and poor-drainage areas is ongoing or expected. I-10, I-49, US-90, US-167 impacted.

Much of North and South Dakota, much of Minnesota, Wisconsin, and northeast Iowa, including Voyageurs National Park: Extreme Heat Warnings and Advisories today through Thursday, with heat index values up to 105 degrees. I-29, I-35, I-35E, I-35W, I-94, US-2, US-8, US-10, US-12, US-51 impacted.

— Northern Minnesota: Red Flag Warning with wind gusts up to 20 mph and very dry fuels supporting rapid fire spread. US-2, US-53, US-59, US-71 impacted.

— Eastern Louisiana and southwest Mississippi: Flood Advisory continues through July 22 along the Mississippi River near Natchez, with lowlands outside levees beginning to flood. US-61, US-65, US-84 impacted.

Central and northern Mississippi and west-central Alabama: Flash flooding is possible today and tonight from heavy thunderstorms, with flooding of low roads and poor-drainage areas possible. I-20, I-22, I-55, I-59, I-65, I-85 potentially impacted.
