Big Weather Picture for this coming weekend and next week:
- Heavy rain is expected across much of the South this weekend. Some areas may be at risk of flooding.
- Low pressure system will bring rain and even some snow across the Upper Great Lakes and Northeast region next week.
- High winds and heavy precipitation may impact the Midwest the last week of April.
Extended outlooks are more general in nature and higher level than the daily short term forecasts. Beyond a week, there is often significant uncertainty in the exact timing, location and intensity of specific weather events.
