- Southern Great Lakes into the Midwest. Severe thunderstorms developing Thursday afternoon and continuing into the evening. Very large hail, damaging winds, and a few tornadoes may create dangerous travel conditions with rapidly changing weather and reduced visibility.

Weather Impacts Pacific Time Zone:
— Western Washington. Winter Weather Advisory through Thursday morning. Snow accumulations 8 to 12 inches in higher terrain with slick roads and slower travel, especially over passes. Up to 2 inches snow expected on Snoqualmile Pass (I-90). US-2 and WA-20 impacted.
— Southern California Mojave Desert Slopes. Wind Advisory tonight with gusts up to 50 mph I-5, CA-14, CA-58 impacted.
Weather Impacts Mountain Time Zone:
— Idaho and western Montana including I-15, I-86, and I-90. Wind Advisory beginning late morning through evening. Gusts up to 50–55 mph creating difficult travel for high-profile vehicles.
— Southwest and central Montana including I-15 and Bozeman Pass on I-90. High Wind Warning through late evening. Gusts up to 60–65 mph with dangerous crosswinds, especially in exposed terrain.
— Southeast Wyoming including Sherman Summit on I-80. High Wind Warning through early evening. Gusts up to 65 mph creating hazardous crosswinds and dangerous travel for high-profile vehicles.
— Far-west Nebraska, Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, and adjacent High Plains corridors including I-80, I-76, I-25, I-90, I-94, I-70, and I-15. Red Flag Warnings beginning around midday through evening or into Thursday. Dry winds with gusts 40–60 mph increase wildfire risk and may lead to sudden visibility reductions near active fires.
Weather Impacts Central Time Zone:
— Nebraska and Kansas corridors including I-80, I-76, and I-70. Red Flag Warnings beginning midday through evening or into Thursday. Gusty winds and dry conditions increase wildfire risk and may impact visibility.
— Texas Panhandle including I-27 and I-40. Heat Advisory through evening. Hot temperatures near or above 101°F may create dangerous heat exposure.
— Northern Illinois into northern Indiana along I-55, I-57, I-80, I-88, I-90, and I-94. Scattered severe thunderstorms may produce very large hail, a few tornadoes, and damaging winds Thursday afternoon into Thursday evening, with the greatest concern centered near the southern Lake Michigan region
— Louisiana and southeast Texas including I-10, I-49, I-55, and I-12. Dense Fog Advisory through late morning. Visibility reduced to one-quarter mile or less, creating hazardous driving conditions.
Weather Impacts Eastern Time Zone:
— Southern lower Michigan including corridors near I-94 and I-96. Severe thunderstorms may develop late Thursday afternoon into the evening with large to very large hail, damaging winds, and an isolated tornado risk.
— Northern Indiana into northwest Ohio along I-69, I-80/90, and I-75. Storms may shift east Thursday evening with a scattered severe wind threat, while a few tornadoes and large hail remain possible in stronger cells.
— South Florida including Alligator Alley, I-75, I-95, and connecting routes. Areas of dense fog through morning. Visibility may drop to one-quarter mile or less, creating hazardous travel conditions.
