  • Strong to marginally severe thunderstorms: A few storms may produce damaging wind gusts and a brief tornado or two across parts of the Mid-Mississippi Valley, Ohio Valley and Lower Midwest today and this evening.

Weather Impacts Pacific Time Zone:

— Northwest OR Willamette Valley; adjacent southwest WA: Dense Fog Advisory this morning. I-5, I-84, US-20, US-26, US-30 impacted.

— Central CA San Joaquin Valley between Fresno and Bakersfield: Dense Fog Advisory this morning. CA-65, CA-99, CA-198 impacted.

Southern CA Interstate 5 (Grapevine) and CA-14 Corridors, Santa Susana, San Gabriel and Santa Monica Mountains: High Wind Watch this evening through Monday afternoon. Wind gusts 45-65 mph. Strongest winds tonight and Monday. I-5, CA-14 impacted.

Southern CA Santa Ana, San Bernardino County, San Diego Mountains; , San Bernardino, Riverside County and San Diego County Valleys; The Inland Empire, San Gorgonio Pass (I-10): High Wind Watches late tonight through Tuesday afternoon. Wind gusts 45-60 mph. Strongest winds will occur along the coastal slopes of the mountains and adjacent foothills and far inland valleys. I-8, I-10, I-15, I-215, CA-18, CA-76, CA-79 impacted.

— Southern NV, CA/AZ border Lake Mead National Recreation Area and Lake Havasu: Wind Advisory this morning through Monday evening. Wind gusts to 45 mph. I-40, US-93, US-95 impacted.

Weather Impacts Mountain Time Zone:

— Northwest MT Rocky Mountain Front: Strong Winds this afternoon through late Monday night. Wind gusts 35-50 mph. US-2, US-89 impacted.

— North-central and eastern MT; western ND: Extreme Cold Weather Warnings and Advisories continue through late this morning. Wind chill values -35°F.

South-central WY; north-central, central and southwest CO; southeast UT: Winter Storm Warnings and Advisories continue through this morning. Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 16 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. I-70, I-80, US-24, US-40, US-50, US-160, US-191, US-550 impacted.

Southeast WY: High Wind Warnings and Watches mid-morning through this evening. Wind gusts to 65 mph. I-25, I-80, US-287 impacted.

Eastern WY; eastern CO: Strong winds today and this evening. Wind gusts 35-50 mph. I-25, I-70, I-76, I-80, US-6, US-18, US-34, US-36, US-40, US-50, US-85, US-287, US-385 impacted.

Central CO; central NM: Strong winds through early this afternoon. Wind gusts 35-60 mph. I-25, I-40, I-70, US-24, US-40, US-50, US-54, US-60, US-62, US-64, US-70, US-82, US-160 impacted.

A portion of south-central NM and extreme southwest TX: Winter Storm Watch this evening through Monday evening. Total snow accumulations 4 to 7 inches possible across the Sacramento Mtns. 2-4 inches snow possible at lower elevations. Winds gusts of 30 to 40 mph, mainly along west slopes of terrain. US-62, US-70, US-82 impacted.

— Southeast AZ; southwest NM: Strong winds Monday into Monday night. Wind gusts to 40 mph. I-10, I-19 impacted.

Weather Impacts Central Time Zone:

— Western ND: Cold Weather Advisory through midday today. Wind chill values as low as -35°F.

Southwest and south-central ND; SD; southwest MN; eastern NE; western, central and southern IA; central and eastern KS; western and central MO; most of OK; northern and central AR; far-western TN; northwest MS; most of central and eastern TX; south-central and southwest LA: Wind Advisories today and tonight. Wind gusts 40-55 mph. I-2, I-10, I-12, I-20, I-22, I-30, I-35, I-40, I-44, I-70, I-80, I-90 impacted.

— Northeast MN along the Lake Superior shoreline: High Wind Warnings and Advisories this evening through Monday afternoon. Wind gusts 55-60 mph. MN-61 impacted.

Southern WI; northern and central IL: Wind Advisories this evening through Monday afternoon. Wind gusts 45-55 mph. I-39, I-41, I-43, I-55, I-57, I-72, I-74, I-80, I-90, I-94 impacted.

Much of IL south of I-80; east-central and southeast MO; northeast AR; northwest KY: Strong to marginally severe thunderstorms possible today and this evening. A few damaging wind gusts and a brief tornado or two are possible. I-24, I-44, I-55, I-57, I-64, I-65, I-69, I-70, I-72, I-74 potentially impacted.

— Southeast LA; coastal MS; southern and southeast AL; FL Panhandle: Dense Fog Advisories this morning. I-10, I-12, I-55, I-59, I-65, I-85 impacted.

Weather Impacts Eastern Time Zone:

MI Upper Peninsula: BLIZZARD WARNINGS (UP) and Winter Storms Warnings this evening through Monday evening. 1-2 feet of snow and wind gusts to 60 mph. I-75, US-2, US-41, US-45 impacted.

MI Lower Peninsula: A combination of Winter Storm Warnings, Watches and Advisories, along with High Wind Watches and Advisories tonight through Monday evening. 4-8 inches of snow west, central and north. Widespread wind gusts 45-60 mph. I-69, I-75, I-94, I-96, I-196, US-10 US-31 highly impacted.

Much of IN and OH; northern WV; western PA; western NY: High Wind Warnings and Advisories later tonight into Monday night. Wind gusts 50-60 mph. I-64, I-65, I-69, I-70, I-71, I-75, I-76, I-77, I-79, I-80, I-81, I-90, I-94, US-11, NY Thruway, PA and OH Turnpikes, IN Toll Road impacted.

Most of IN; western OH: Strong to marginally severe thunderstorms possible today and this evening. A few damaging wind gusts and a brief tornado or two are possible. I-64, I-65, I-69, I-70, I-71, I-74, I-75, I-80, I-90, IN Toll Road, OH Turnpike potentially impacted.

Far-eastern TN along the NC Border: Wind Advisory late this evening through Monday evening. Wind gusts to 50 mph. I-26, I-40 impacted.

— Western NY: Flood Watch this afternoon through Monday afternoon. Flooding caused by a combination of excessive rainfall and snowmelt is possible. Widespread rainfall totals of 1-1.5 inches are expected. I-86, I-90, US-20, US-219, NY Thruway impacted.

Northwest PA; western NY downwind of Lakes Erie and Ontario: Winter Storm Warnings, Watches and Advisories for Lake Effect Snows tonight through Thursday night. Up to 1-2 feet of snow. Wind gusts up to 65 mph Monday and Monday night. Lake effect snow is expected oscillate several times downwind of the lakes this week. Forecast snowfall amounts could be much higher where lake bands persist during this long duration event.  I-79, I-81, I-86, I-90, US-6, US-11, US-20, US-219, NY Thruway impacted.

Central and south-central PA; western MD; northeast and east-central WV: High Wind Watch Monday morning through Tuesday afternoon. Wind gusts to 60 mph. The strongest winds will be Monday afternoon through Tuesday morning. Strong winds will also be accompanied by upslope snow showers with up to two inches of snow possible at higher elevations. I-68, I-70, I-76, I-80, I-99, US-22, US-219, US-322 impacted.

Central and southern ME; NH; VT; most of MA (excluding Cape Cod); northwest RI; CT; NY north of NYC; northern NJ; north-central and northeast PA: Winter Weather Advisories late this afternoon and tonight. Freezing rain expected. Total ice accumulations up to two tenths of an inch. Temperatures rising above freezing will allow freezing rain to change to plain rain during the overnight hours.  I-78, I-80, I-81, I-84, I-87, I-88, I-89, I-90, I-91, I-93, I-95, NY Thruway, Mass Pike, PA Turnpike (Northeast Extension) impacted.

Northern ME: Winter Storm Watch Monday into Monday night. Heavy mixed precipitation possible. Expect a combination of snow, sleet and freezing rain. I-95, US-1 impacted.

— Southern GA; much of FL: Dense Fog Advisories this morning. I-4, I-10, I-75, I-95 impacted.
