Weather Impacts Pacific Time Zone:
— WA and OR Coasts; northern WA Puget Sound: Strong winds Monday afternoon and evening. Wind gusts to 50 mph. I-5 (Puget Sound), US-101 impacted.
— WA northern Cascades: Winter Storm Warning today and tonight. 1-2 feet of snow expected.
— WA central and southern Cascades; OR Cascades: Winter Weather Advisories today and tonight. 6-12 inches of snow expected. Snow levels around 3000 feet today and 2000-2500 feet on Monday. I-90, US-2, US-12, US-20, US-26 impacted.
— South-central and southeast OR; Northern and central NV; southwest ID: Strong winds today and tonight. Wind gusts 35-50 mph. I-80, US-6, US-50, US-93, US-95, US-395 impacted.
— Northern CA; central CA between the Coastal Ranges and Sierra Nevada: Flood Watches with embedded Flood Advisories continue through the Friday after Christmas: A series of warm atmospheric rivers will bring moderate to heavy rain to the Valley, foothills, and mountains the week of Christmas. The prolonged period of rain will bring the risk of flooding to the Sacramento Valley, northern San Joaquin Valley, northern Sierra Nevada and adjacent foothills, as well as the Coastal Range. An additional 2-5 inches of rain is expected across northern CA through Tuesday morning. Heavy rains move into southern CA starting Wednesday. Major highways impacted include I-5, I-80, US-50, US-101, CA-99.
— Northern CA Sacramento Valley; parts of northwest CA: Wind Advisory through this evening. Wind gusts to 50 mph. I-5, US-101, CA-1, CA-36, CA-44, CA-99, CA-299 impacted.
— CA Sierra Nevada Mountains: Winter Storm Watches Tuesday evening through Friday morning. Heavy snow possible. Accumulation amounts may range from around a foot at 5500 feet and up 4 feet at highest elevations. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph. Snow accumulations will remain near or above pass level through Tuesday, then drop to around 5500 feet during the day Wednesday. I-80, US-50 impacted.
— CA Sierra Nevada Yosemite National Park outside of the Valley: Winter Storm Warning through Friday afternoon. 6-8 feet of snow and wind gusts to 50 mph. Snow levels around 8,000 to 9,000 feet until Monday, then 7,000 to 8,000 feet through Tuesday, and lowering to 6,000 feet by Christmas Day.
— CA eastern slopes of the Sierra Nevada; west-central NV: High Wind Warnings and Advisories today and tonight. Wind gusts generally 55-65 mph. Wind-prone locatins along US-395 and I-580 may see gusts to 80 mph. I-80, I-580, US-6, US-50, US-95, US-395 impacted.
— Much of the San Francisco and Monterey Bay areas: Strong winds today. Wind gusts to 40 mph. I-80, US-101, CA-1 impacted.

— Southwest ID: Wind Advisory today. Wind gusts to 50 mph. ID-51 impacted.
— Central ID and northeast ID; adjacent west-central and southwest MT: Winter Storm Warnings and Advisories continue through Monday morning. Total snow accumulations 1 to 4 inches over the valleys and 4 to 10 inches at and above pass level. The snow may mix with light freezing rain or drizzle this evening and tonight with ice accumulations up to a glaze. Winds may gust as high as 40 mph at times. US-12, US-20, US-93, US-191, US-287 impacted.
— Northwest MT Rocky Mountain Front: Strong winds on Monday. Wind gusts 35-50 mph. US-2, US-89 impacted.
— Portions of central and south-central MT: Winter Weather Advisories today and tonight. Rain and snow showers expected with areas of freezing rain or drizzle possible. Total snow accumulations up to one inch and ice accumulations around a light glaze. Winds gusting as high as 30 mph. I-90, US-12, US-89, US-191 impacted.
— South-central MT Absaroka / Beartooth Mountains: Winter Storm Warnings today, tonight and Monday. Periods of heavy snow. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 feet, mainly on south and west facing slopes. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. US-212 impacted.
— Much of northwest and west-central WY: Winter Storm Warnings today, tonight and Monday above 7500 feet. Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations between 20 and 36 inches. Locally higher amounts over 40 inches possible. Wind gusts of 35 to 50 mph starting by midday today, leading to blowing snow. Snow levels start at 6000 feet this morning, rise to 8500 feet by this evening, then fall to 7500 feet by Monday afternoon. 2-4 inches snow below 7500 feet. US-14, US-16, US-26, US-89, US-189, US-191, US-212 impacted.
— Parts of southeast WY: High Wind Warnings this afternoon through Monday afternoon. Wind gusts 60-75 mph. I-25, I-80 impacted.
— Much of western, central and southern WY; parts of central and eastern CO: Strong winds today and again on Monday. Wind gusts 35-50 mph. I-25, I-70, I-80, US-20, US-26, US-30, US-34, US-36, US-40, US-50, US-287 impacted.

— Parts of south-central and southeast ND; central and southern MN along the I-94 corridor from Minneapolis to Bismarck; west-central WI: Some light sleet and freezing right late tonight and early Monday morning. A glaze of ice is possible in some locations. I-29, I-35, I-94 potentially impacted.
— Southwest and south-central SD; northwest and north-central NE: Strong winds tonight and Monday. Wind gusts 35-50 mph. I-90, US-18, US-20, US-83, US-85 impacted.
— Northern WI: Snow Monday morning. 1 or 2 inches accumulation. US-8, US-41, US-51, US-141 impacted.
— Southwest LA; coastal TX; much of south-central and southern TX: Dense Fog Advisories this morning. I-2, I-10, I-35, I-37, I-45, I-69E, US-59, US-77, US-87, US-90 impacted.

— NY Adirondack Mountains; northern VT: A strong cold front is moving across the St. Lawrence Valley eastward into the northern Adirondacks this morning, producing wind gusts in the 35 to 45 mph range for a couple of hours. I-87, I-89, I-91, US-5, US-7, US-9, US-11 impacted.
— Northern NH; interior ME: Strong winds today and tonight. Wind gusts to 45 mph. I-93, US-2, US-3, US-201 impacted.
— Central and south-central PA; far-western MD; northeast and east-central WV: Strong winds today. Wind gusts 30-40 mph. I-68, I-70, I-76, I-80, I-99, US-11, US-22, US-30, US-33, US-250, US-322 impacted.
—NY downwind of Lake Ontario: Lake Effect Snow late this morning through this evening. 4-7 inches likely. Wind gusts 30-35 mph, especially near the Lake. Strongest snow bands move from north to south throughout the day. I-81, I-88, I-90, US-11, US-20, NY Thruway impacted.
— SC coast from Myrtle Beach southward; coastal GA; northeast FL: Dense Fog Advisories this morning. I-10, I-16, I-20, I-26, I-95, US-1, US-17, US-21, US-52, US-84 impacted.
— Interior and Gulf Coast South FL Peninsula: Areas of dense fog have been reported this morning. Visibility will be a quarter mile or less at times. I-75, US-27, US-41, US-98 impacted.
