Weather Impacts Pacific Time Zone:

— Western Washington along I-5 and I-90. Flood Watches and Warnings through Sunday for the Skokomish basin, the North and Central Cascades, and nearby west-central and northwest Washington, including the the Snoqualmie River near Snoqualmie Falls and Carnation, the Tolt River above Carnation, the Snohomish River near Monroe and at Snohomish, and the Skagit River near Concrete.. Heavy rain may lead to landslides, debris flows, and flooding in low spots and along rivers, with extra concern near the Cascades and western Washington corridors.

— Central Washington near I-82. Flood Warning through Monday morning near the Naches River at Naches. Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast, with water possible near low-lying roads and access points.

— Central Oregon along I-84. Warm, dry conditions and gusts 20 to 30 mph through this evening may support rapid fire spread and create locally difficult travel where smoke or active fire develops.

— Southern California, southeast California and southern Nevada along I-5, I-8, I-10, I-15, and I-40. Extreme Heat Warning through Sunday night across the lower deserts, including parts of Coachella Valley, San Diego County deserts, and the San Gorgonio Pass, southeast California, and southern Nevada, with highs generally 96 to 109. Dangerous heat will increase stress on travelers and vehicles, especially during afternoon stops and desert crossings.

— Portions of southwest California along I-5, with nearby impacts extending toward I-10 and I-15. Extreme Heat Warning through late tonight for hot inland and mountain areas, with temperatures from the 90s to near 104. Travel impacts will be greatest during afternoon and early evening heat.

— California along I-5 and I-80 through the Bay Area and Central Coast. Heat Advisory through late tonight, with highs in the upper 80s to mid 90s inland and warm overnight conditions in higher terrain. Heat may be an added strain for travelers without effective cooling.

— Southern California along I-5, I-8, I-10, I-15, and I-40. Heat Advisory through late tonight for inland valleys, the Inland Empire, and coastal-adjacent areas, with many locations in the 90s and some valleys near 102. Hot conditions may cause heat illness during stops and slow travel.

Weather Impacts Mountain Time Zone:

— North-central and western Montana along I-15, with nearby impacts reaching Bozeman Pass on I-90. High Wind Warning beginning this morning and continuing through Saturday afternoon. Gusts up to 90 mph are expected along parts of the Rocky Mountain Front, with other warned areas seeing gusts to 65 to 80 mph. Hazardous crosswinds are likely for high-profile vehicles.

— Southern Montana along I-90 from Livingston to Big Timber. Wind Advisory beginning this morning and continuing through late evening, with west wind gusts 50 to 60 mph. Strong crosswinds will make travel difficult for large and wind-sensitive vehicles.

— Western South Dakota and northeastern Wyoming along I-90. Red Flag Warning beginning around midday and continuing through late tonight. Very dry air and gusts up to 30 mph will support rapid fire growth, and any fire start near the corridor could quickly affect travel.

— Southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle along I-25, I-76, and I-80. Red Flag Warning through Saturday evening. Sustained winds 15 to 30 mph, gusts up to 40 mph, and very low humidity will support rapid fire spread.

— Central and western Wyoming along I-25, I-80, and I-90. Red Flag Warning beginning late evening and continuing through Saturday night. Gusts up to 35 mph with very dry air and unusually warm conditions may lead to erratic fire behavior and sudden smoke impacts on travel.

— Eastern Colorado along I-25, I-76, and I-80. Red Flag Warning beginning around midday and continuing through late evening. Hot, dry, breezy conditions will support rapid fire spread and may create localized visibility reductions where smoke develops.

— Southern Colorado along I-25 and I-70. Red Flag Warning beginning Saturday midday and continuing into Sunday morning, with west winds 15 to 25 mph and gusts up to 45 mph. Any fire start could spread quickly and affect travel routes.

— Northern and central Arizona along I-17 and I-40. Extreme Heat Warning through Sunday night for the lower elevations of the Grand Canyon and Yavapai County valleys and basins. Temperatures up to about 100 to 102 will create dangerous heat exposure for travelers.

— South-central and southern Arizona along I-8, I-10, I-17, and I-19. Extreme Heat Warning through Sunday night from the Phoenix area south and southeast toward Tucson and Cochise County, with highs generally 95 to 108. Desert travel will be hazardous during the hottest part of the day.

Weather Impacts Central Time Zone:

— ArkLaTex corridors along I-20, I-30, and I-49. Conditions late this evening are favorable for wildfire growth conditions. Dry fuels and gusty winds may allow fires to spread and create localized smoke issues for travelers.

— South-central and southwest Louisiana and adjacent southeast Texas: Dense Fog Advisory this morning along I-10 and I-49.

Weather Impacts Eastern Time Zone:

— Northern New York and Vermont along I-87, I-89, I-91, and I-93. Winter Weather Advisory beginning this morning and continuing through late tonight. Snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches, with 4 to 6 inches above 2000 feet, will bring slick roads and slower travel, especially into the evening.

— Portions of the Upper Ohio Valley in Ohio, West Virginia and western Pennsylvania, including corridors along I-64, I-70, I-76, I-77, I-79. There is a marginal risk of severe thunderstorms through tonight. Isolated storms may produce brief damaging wind gusts and heavy downpours, which could lead to reduced visibility and localized travel slowdowns.
