The atmosphere wakes up! Big storms bring snow and wind this weekend to both coasts; potential ice storm this Saturday for western North Carolina and western Virginia.
Some strong to possibly severe thunderstorms along the Gulf Coast and for Florida early next week.
Strong winds for the South and Eastern third of the County next Tuesday and Wednesday.

Heavy rains this Sunday through Tuesday, moving west to east from the upper Great Lakes to New England, respectively.
Severe thunderstorms likely from the Midwest to the Mid-Atlantic Region this coming Sunday and Monday.

Welcome to the Dog Days of Summer: Heat continues in the Southwest, and returns to Texas and the lower Mississippi Valley.
Escape the heat by heading to New England — high temperatures much of next week in the 70’s.
Daily severe weather possible, triggered by weak disturbances sliding through the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic region.
Watching the central tropical Atlantic for development. Conditions will become favorable in a few days, but current threat to the East Coast is minimal.
