  • First in a series of Pacific Storms this week impacts Washington, Oregon and California with rain, higher elevation snows and gusty winds. Snow moves across the Great Basin on Monday and into the Northern Rockies by Monday evening.
  • Lake effect rain showers in the traditional snow belts of Pennsylvania and New York.
  • Dry weather across much of the nation’s interior.

—South-central OR, northeast and eastern CA east of the Sierras, adjacent northwest NV: Wind Advisory midday through this evening. Gusts 50-60 mph. I-80, US-395 impacted.

— Northeast CA: Winter Weather Advisory this evening through Monday morning. 1-4 inches of snow above 5500 feet; 3-6 inches above 7000 ft. I-80 impacted.

— Central CA: Wind Advisory for the western portion of the San Joaquin Valley this afternoon through midnight tonight. Gusts 50-55 mph. I-5 impacted.

— East-central CA: Wind Advisories for the Mojave Desert Slopes tonight. Gusts to 50 mph. CA-58 impacted.

— Southern NV between Las Vegas and Death Valley: Wind Advisory tonight and Monday morning. Gusts 50-60 mph.

— Northeastern NV: Winter Weather Advisory for Ruby Mountains and East Humbolt Range Monday. 6-12 inches accumulation likely. I-80 impacted at the northern edge of the advisory.

— South-central UT: Expect wind gusts to 50 mph Monday afternoon. I-15 impacted.
