  • Major storm expected to impact northern and central California starting Saturday night through Monday. Wind, flood and winter storm watches already posted across the west.
  • Significant severe weather outbreak possible Sunday afternoon and evening across the mid-Mississippi River Valley.

— South-central OR and adjacent northern CA: Wind Advisories this evening through this morning. Gusts to 50 mph.

— Much of northern and central CA, east of the Coast and especially on the western side of the Sierras: Flood and Flash Flood Watches Saturday night through Monday afternoon for heavy rains. I-5, I-80 will be impacted.

— CA Sierra Nevada Mountains above 6000 feet: Winter Storm Watch Sunday evening through late Monday. 1-2 feet of snow with local amounts up to 3 feet. I-80 will be heavily impacted.

— Western UT, west of I-15: High Wind Watch late Sunday through Monday evening. Gusts to 65 mph. I-80 impacted.

— Western TX Panhandle, south of I-40: Dense Fog Advisory through midmorning.

— Much of the TX and LA Gulf Coast: Dense Fog Advisories through midmorning. I-10, I-45 impacted.

— MO, northern AR: Significant severe weather outbreak possible Sunday afternoon and evening. Damaging winds, large hail and a few tornadoes all possible. I-40, I-44, I-55, I-70 all potentially impacted.

— Much of AL: Dense Fog Advisories through midmorning. I-20/I-59, I-65, I-85 impacted.
