    • A clipper system will track through the Great Lakes and Northeast with lake effect snow, rain and snow showers and gusty winds today through Thursday.
    • Some rain and mountain snows move into California late Thursday.
  • More significant storms expected over the Central U.S. this weekend.

— Southwest and south-central WA: Flood Watches through this afternoon. I-5, I-82 potentially impacted.

— CA San Francisco North Bay interior valleys: Dense Fog Advisory through late this morning. US-101 impacted.

— CA: Rain spreading from north to south through the state Thursday afternoon and Thursday night. Generally light accumulations. Advisories not expected.

— Northern ID: Flood Watch this morning. I-90 potentially impacted.

— Northeastern ID and northwest MT: Winter Weather Advisories this morning. Up to 3 inches snow above 5000 feet and some light icing. Untreated roads may become slick. I-90 impacted.

— North-central, northeast and eastern MT: Winter Weather Advisories through Friday morning. Up to 3 inches of snow and some freezing drizzle expected. I-94 impacted.

— Northeast MT, west-central ND: Dense Fog Advisory through midday today. I-94 impacted.

— Northwest and central ND: Winter Weather Advisory this morning for freezing drizzle. I-94 impacted.

— Coastal and southeast TX, south of Houston: Dense Fog Advisories through mid-morning. I-37, US-59 impacted.

— Northern MI, upstate NY, most of New. England: Snow this afternoon and tonight moving across the region from west to east. Accumulations generally 1-2 inches, except 2-4 inches in the higher terrain of NY and New England. Some advisories possible. Major highways impacted include. I-75, I-81, I-84, I-87, I-90, I-95.
