Pacific:
— Southern and much of interior Central CA; southern NV: Excessive Heat Warnings and Watches continuing through the Labor Day weekend and into early next week. High temperatures will range from 100-110 deg F in the San Joaquin Valley to 105-115 deg F in the Mojave and southern Deserts and 115-123 deg F in Death Valley. The heat spreads north into the Sacramento Valley starting this Saturday. I-5, I-8, I-10, I-15, I-40, CA-58, CA-99 among the highways impacted.
Mountain:
— Western AZ: Excessive Heat Warnings through this evening. High temperatures 105 – 113 deg F. I-8, I-10, I-40 impacted.
— Portions of south-central AZ: Excessive Heat Warning through this evening. High temperatures 105-111 deg F. I-10, I-17 impacted.
— Northeast and east-central CO: Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms with damaging wind gusts possible this afternoon and evening. I-76, I-80 potentially impacted.
Central:
— Northeast, central and southwest NE; northwest KS: Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms with damaging wind gusts possible this afternoon and evening. I-70, I-80 potentially impacted.
— Portions of western, southwest and southern TX, generally west of I-35 and along and south of I-10: Flash Flood Watches continue through Thursday for excessive rainfall. Locally 1-2 inches of rainfall are possible. Flooding threat greatest in the Big Bend region, including Big Bend National Park. I-10, I-20 (at the split) potentially impacted.
— Portions of central TN: Dense Fog Advisory this morning. I-24, I-40, I-65 impacted.
— Central MS and central AL: Dense Fog Advisories this morning. I-20, I-55, I-59, I-65 impacted.
Eastern:
— Northern and northwest NY and eastern ME: Isolated thunderstorms capable of damaging wind gusts and hail today. I-81, I-87, I-95 potentially impacted.
