Strong thunderstorms may impact parts of the northern Great Plains and Upper Midwest today.
Strong winds are forecast this afternoon across portions of Idaho, Wyoming and the central Plains.

Pacific:

— No significant impacts to RV travel today or Thursday.

Mountain:

— Southeast ID: Wind Advisory this afternoon and evening. Gusts to 45 mph.

— Western and central WY: Wind gusts 30-45 mph this afternoon and evening. Strongest winds over the Wind River Range. I-80 impacted.

Central:

— Eastern ND and adjacent MN; northeast and central SD: Severe thunderstorms associated with large hail and wind damage possible this afternoon. Hail may exceed 2 inches in diameter and wind gusts may reach 75 mph. I-29, I-90, I-94 potentially impacted.

— Southern SD; central and western NE; northeast CO; northwest KS: Wind gusts 30-45 mph this afternoon and early evening. I-70, I-76, I-80, I-90 impacted.

— Southeast SD and adjacent southwest MN: Wind Advisory this afternoon and evening. Gusts to 50 mph. I-29, I-90 impacted.

— TX Coast: RVers should remain aware of the latest forecasts along the TX coast for later this week. Main threat from a tropical disturbance will be heavy, flooding rains.

Eastern:

— No significant impacts to RV travel today or Thursday.
