  • Snow today moves southward through the higher elevations of the northern and central Rockies.
  • Chance of severe weather Thursday night from the Texas Panhandle southward into the Hill Country.
  • Dense fog along much of the Eastern Seaboard from Cape Hatteras northwards will slowly lift by midday today.

Pacific:

— Southeast WA and northeast OR Blue Mountains above 4000 ft: Winter Weather Advisories today. Snow accumulations 6-10 inches.

Mountain:

— North-central ID and adjacent western MT: Winter Weather Advisory through late this morning. 2-6 inches snow accumulation.

Northwest MT Rocky Mountain Front and foothills: High Wind Warning late tonight through Friday morning. Gusts to 75 mph. Higher wind gusts possible in some spots. I-15 impacted.

— Northwest MT Cascade County below 5000 ft: High Wind Watch Thursday afternoon and evening. Gusts to 60 mph.

Northeast UT Wasatch and Uinta Mountains: Winter Weather Advisories today and tonight. 5-10 inches snow likely. I-80 impacted.

— North-central CO from I-70 northwards: Winter Weather Advisories today and Thursday. 5-10 inches snow likely. I-70 impacted.

South-central CO and north-central NM along the I-25 corridor and Raton Pass: Several inches snow likely Thursday and Thursday, creating impacts and hazards for RV travel. Advisories probable. I-25 impacted.

— Central and southern NM: Strong wind gusts Thursday afternoon. Gusts 35-45 mph. I-10, I-25, I-40 impacted.

Central:

— TX Panhandle; southwest OK and TX Hill Country: Isolated severe thunderstorms possible Thursday evening and Thursday night. I-10, I-17, I-20, I-40 potentially impacted.

Eastern:

— Eastern ME Penobscot Valley: Flood Watch this afternoon and tonight. 1-2 inches of rain may cause some flash flooding. I-95 potentially impacted.

Coastal ME and NH; eastern MA; RI; central and southern NJ and adjacent southeast PA; DE and southern portion DELMARVA Peninsula; VA lower Chesapeake and Tidewater regions; northeastern coastal NC: Dense Fog Advisories this morning. Major highways impacted include I-64, I-80, I-95, US-13 and coastal roads and highways.
