Pacific:
— North-central ID: Winter Weather Advisory through this afternoon. Total accumulations 3-6 inches snow.
— Southern CA from the Los Angeles County mountains south and east to San Diego County: High Wind Warnings and Advisories this evening through Thursday evening. Gusts 65-75 mph. I-5, I-8, I-10, I-15, US-101 impacted.
— Southeast and interior southern CA from the Mojave desert to the Mexican border: Wind Advisories this evening through Thursday evening. Gusts 40-45 mph. I-10, I-15, I-40 impacted.
Mountain:
— Northwest, central and south-central MT: Winter Storm Watches Thursday night through Saturday morning. 5-8 inches snow at lower elevations and 8-14 inches in the mountains and passes. I-15, I-90, I-94 impacted.
— Portions of north-central, south-central, northeast and east-central MT: High Wind Watches late tonight through Thursday. Gusts to 60 mph possible. I-90 (Livingston area), I-94 potentially impacted.
— Southeast MT; north-central and northeast WY; WY and SD Black Hills: Winter Storm Warnings (Black Hills) and Advisories through this evening. Snow accumulations 2-5 inches except 8-14 inches in the Black Hills. Wind gusts to 40 mph. I-90 impacted.
— Southeast WY: High Wind Watch Thursday and Thursday night. Gusts to 65 mph. I-25, I-80 impacted.
— Portions of central and southeast NM: Winter Weather Advisories continue through mid-morning. An additional inch or so of snow possible. I-25, I-40 impacted.
Central:
— Western and central ND: Wind Advisories midday Thursday through late Thursday night. Gusts to 50 mph. I-94 impacted.
— Extreme eastern KS; MO; IL, adjacent southeast WI and adjacent southeast IA: Winter Storm Warnings (southern MO and southern, central IL) and Advisories today. Snow will end from west to east. Additional accumulations of around 2 inches in MO and northern IL, while central and southern IL could see 4-7 inches snow. Major highways impacted include I-35, I-39, I-43, I-44, I-55, I-57, I-64, I-70, I-72, I-74, I-80, I-88.
— Central and western KY and TN; northern MS; central, southern and eastern AL; western FL Panhandle: Wind Advisories continue through midday today. Gusts 35-50 mph. I-10, I-20, I-22, I-24, I-40, I-55, I-65, I-85 impacted.
— Central and eastern FL Panhandle: Tornado Watch through mid-morning. Wind gusts to 70 mph, quarter-sized hail and a couple of tornadoes possible. I-10 impacted.
Eastern:
— Southern and southeast MI; IN; OH except southern border; PA except far southwest and southeast portions of state; eastern WV; western MD; northwest and west-central VA; northwest NJ; NY; CT, MA, RI except near the coast; VT; NH; ME: Winter Storm Warnings (IN, western OH, southeast MI; northern NY; interior and northern New England) and Advisories through Thursday. Snow ends southwest to northeast. Accumulations will range from 2-4 inches in much of PA, OH, MD and WV, to 6-9 inches in IN and MI. Expect 5-10 inches snow in northern NY and interior New England. The Appalachians, NY and New England can expect the snow to mix with freezing rain and a glaze of ice on top of the snow. Windy, especially in New England, with gusts to 40 mph. Major highways impacted include I-64, I-65, I-68, I-69, I-70, I-71, I-74, I-75, I-76, I-77, I-78, I-79, I-80, I-81, I-83, I-84, I-87, I-88, I-94, IN Toll Road, OH & PA Turnpikes, NY Thruway.
— RI, southeast MA (excluding Cape Cod): Flood Watch through Thursday morning for excessive rainfall. I-95 potentially impacted.
— Eastern KY; eastern TN; western NC; GA except along eastern border; northern FL: Wind Advisories through tonight. Gusts 40-45 mph. I-10, I-16, I-20, I-26, I-40, I-75, I-81, I-85 impacted.
— Eastern TN along the NC Border: High Wind Warnings today. Gusts to 80 mph. I-26, I-40 impacted.
— Eastern NC; eastern and central SC; southern and southeast GA; northern FL: Damaging thunderstorm winds possible today. Also a couple of tornadoes are possible this morning over the FL Panhandle and this afternoon over the eastern Carolinas. I-10, I-16, I-26, I-40, I-75, I-85, I-95 potentially impacted.
— PA; southern Tier NY; Appalachian Mountains from PA, through WV and VA to NC: Strong winds mid-morning through mid-afternoon Thursday. Wind gusts 30-40 mph except 35-50 mph along the high terrain of the Appalachians. Major highways impacted include I-26, I-40, I-64, I-68, I-70, I-76, I-78, I-79, I-80, I-81, I-83, I-84, I-86, I-88, I-99, PA Turnpike.
