Pacific:
— No significant weather impacts Wednesday or Thursday 16-17 March.
Mountain:
— Northwest WY Teton and Gros Ventre Mountains: Winter Weather Advisory through midday today. An additional 1-3 inches snow expected. Teton and Togwotee Passes impacted.
— North-central, central and south-central CO; north-central NM: Winter Storm Warnings (central CO, Raton Pass) and Advisories this evening through Thursday evening. Snow will end from north to south, starting Thursday morning. Accumulations vary greatly with elevation. Expect 2-4 inches snow near CO/WY border, 5-15 inches in the west Denver suburbs, foothills, and Boulder, 3-6 inches along the I-25 corridor south of Colorado Springs, up to 8-12 inches in the Raton Pass and 4-8 inches in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains near Santa Fe. I-25, I-70, I-76 impacted.
Central:
—Much of KS, western OK, northern TX: Strong wind gusts 30-45 mph Thursday afternoon and evening. Wind Advisories possible. I-27, I-40, I-70. Impacted.
— South-central OK, northeast TX, most of LA, southern MS: Slight risk of severe thunderstorms Thursday afternoon through Thursday night.
— East-central AR: Dense Fog Advisory through midmorning. I-30, I-40 impacted.
— Southwest AL, western FL Panhandle: Dense Fog Advisory through midmorning. I-10, I-65 impacted.
Eastern:
— Central and northeast FL, coastal GA and adjacent SC: Slight risk of severe thunderstorms today. Large hail will be the primary threat, but damaging winds also possible. I-4, I-16, I-75, I-95 potentially impacted.
