Pacific:
— No significant weather impacts to RV travel today or Wednesday.
Mountain:
— Southeast MT: Severe thunderstorm watch through late this morning. Hail up to 2 inches in diameter and wind gusts to 75 mph. I-94 potentially impacted.
— Southeast MT: Flood Advisory through noon today. Minor flooding near streams and rivers from excessive rainfall.
— Much of central and eastern MT; northeast WY: Clusters of severe thunderstorms are forecast this afternoon and evening. Strong wind gusts and hail are the main threats. Intense gusts and very large hail is expected over eastern MT. I-90, I-94 potentially impacted.
— Most of MT; northeast and eastern WY; adjacent western ND and SD: Isolated to scattered severe thunderstorms Wednesday. Damaging wind gusts and large hail are the main threats. I-15, I-90, I-94 potentially impacted.
Central:
— West-central, southwest and southern ND; SD; most of NE along and north of I-80; southwest and southern MN; most of IA; southern WI; central, northern and eastern IL: Clusters of severe thunderstorms are forecast this afternoon and evening. Strong wind gusts and hail are the main threats. Intense gusts and very large hail is expected within a ~50 mille radius of the intersection of I-29 and I-90. Major highways potentially impacted include I-25, I-29, I-35, I-39, I-43, I-55, I-57, I-80, I-88, I-90, I-94.
— Eastern KS; central and southern MO; southwest IL: Excessive Heat Warnings though Thursday night. Heat index values approaching 110 deg F. I-35, I-44, I-55, I-57, I-70 impacted.
— North-central and northeast IL; adjacent northwest IN: Flood Watch this afternoon through late tonight for excessive rainfall. Major highways potentially impacted include I-39, I-5, I-57, I-80, I-90, I-94.
— Central and east-central IL: Isolated to scattered severe thunderstorms Wednesday. Damaging wind gusts and large hail are the main threats. I-55, I-57, I-70, I-72 potentially impacted.
Eastern:
— IN; OH; northern and eastern KY; WV; central and southern PA; MD; DC; northern and western VA: Clusters of severe thunderstorms are forecast this afternoon and evening. Strong wind gusts and hail are the main threats. Major highways potentially impacted include I-64, I-65, I-66, I-68, I-70, I-71, I-74, I-75, I-77, I-79, I-80, I-81, I-83, I-90, I-95, PA and OH Turnpikes, IN Toll Road.
— Most of IN; southwest OH; central and eastern KY; northeast TN; central and southern WV; most of VA south of Fredericksburg; NC; northern SC: Isolated to scattered severe thunderstorms Wednesday.
