— Central and northern WA: Winter Storm Warnings and Advisories (near the coast) this afternoon through Wednesday evening. Snow accumulations will range from a few inches near the coast and around Puget Sound to 10-16 inches inland to 1-2 feet in the Cascades. Wind gusts to 40 mph. Major highways impacted include I-5, I-82, I-90, US-395.
— WA northern Puget Sound: High Wind Warning this afternoon through Wednesday morning. Gusts to 55 mph. I-5 impacted.
— WA remainder of Puget Sound: Wind Advisories this afternoon through Wednesday morning. Gusts to 40 mph. I-5, I-90 impacted.
— WA Pacific Coast: Wind Advisories this afternoon through Wednesday morning. Gusts to 50 mph. US-101 impacted.
— Far east-central and northeast WA; northern ID: Winter Storm Watches late this evening through late Wednesday night. Accumulations will range from 4-7 inches to 10-16 inches north of Spokane. I-90 US-95 impacted.
— OR Cascades: Winter Storm Watch Wednesday morning through Thursday afternoon. Accumulations of 1-2 feet are likely. Wind gusts to 40 mph. I-84, US-395 impacted.
— OR Coast: High Wind Watch this evening through Wednesday morning. Gusts to 60 mph. US-101 impacted.
— Northern CA and adjacent south-central OR, including Siskiyou Summit: Winter Storm Watches Wednesday afternoon through Thursday. Accumulations will range from 5-10 inches around 3000 feet to 10-20 inches in the higher elevations. Wind gusts to 45 mph. I-5, US-395 impacted.
— CA Sierra Nevada: Winter Storm Watches Wednesday evening through Friday morning. Snow accumulations will range from 2-8 inches at lower elevations to 1-3 feet near and west of US-395 and Donner Pass. Wind gusts 45-65 mph except up to 100 mph on exposed summit ridge lines. I-80, US-50, US-395 highly impacted.
Mountain:
— Central and south-central ID and adjacent east-central OR: Winter Storm Watches late tonight through late Thursday night, Snow accumulations will range from 4-8 inches across the lower elevations to Baker County to 1-2 feet in the mountains. I-84 impacted.
— Portions of western, central and southwest MT: Winter Storm Watches Wednesday night through Friday afternoon. Accumulations will range from 4-9 inches to 1-2 feet in the mountains. Wind gusts 35-40 mph.
— North-central, central and southwest UT: Winter Storm Warnings (southern Wasatch Mountains) and Advisories (elsewhere) continue today. Additional accumulations of 3-8 inches in the mountains and 1-4 inches elsewhere. I-15, I-70, I-80 impacted.
— Southeast WY I-80 Summit between Laramie and Cheyenne; also I-80 between Laramie and Rawlins: Ground Blizzard Warning this afternoon through Wednesday afternoon. Wind gusts to 60 mph, windchill temperatures of -25 deg F and near zero visibility due to blowing and drifting snow. I-80 highly impacted and will likely close.
— Southeast and south-central WY; much of northern, central and southwest CO: Winter Storm Warnings (portions of WY and CO Rockies) and Advisories today. Additional accumulations range from a few inches in the CO Foothills to 5-9 inches in the mountains. Wind gusts to 45 mph. I-25, I-70, I-80 impacted.
— Much of NM; portions of northeast and east-central AZ: High Wind Warnings and Advisories today. High winds end from west to east. Gusts 55-65 mph in NM and 40-50 mph in AZ. I-25, I-40 impacted.

— NE; southeast SD; western IA; southern, southeast and east-central MN; MN Arrowhead; northwest and north-central WI; western MI Upper Peninsula: Winter Storm Warnings (MN, WI) and Advisories today and tonight. Snow accumulations will range from 2-4 inches over NE to 5-9 inches over parts of MN and WI. Some freezing rain today over eastern NE and western IA. Wind gusts 30-40 mph. I-29, I-35, I-80, I-90, I-94, US-2 impacted.
— Western TX: Wind Advisory today. Gusts to 55 mph. I-10/I-20 split impacted.
— Eastern OK; northwest AR; southwest MO: Wind Advisories through this afternoon. Gusts to 45 mph. I-40, I-44 impacted.
— Central and east-central IL; adjacent northwest IN: Wind Advisories mid-morning through mid-afternoon. Gusts to 45 mph. I-39, I-55, I-57, I-65, I-72, I-74, I-80 impacted.
— Far-western KY; western and central TN; the southeastern half of AR; MS; LA; far-eastern TX; western AL: Severe thunderstorms with tornadoes, very large hail and severe wind gusts are expected this afternoon and tonight.
