  • Dangerous heat in interior southern California in the valleys northeast of Los Angeles.
  • Monsoon rains likely strengthen over western Arizona Wednesday.

— Excessive Heat Warning interior Southern CA Antelope and Lucerne Valleys today. Temperatures could reach 108 deg F. I-15 impacted.


— Portions of north-central, west-central and southwest NM: Flood Watches today from monsoon storms. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded. I-25 potentially impacted.


— Central TX around the Austin / San Antonio region: Flood Watches through Wednesday evening for excessive rainfall. I-10, I-35 potentially impacted.

— Eastern TX; southern AR; northern and central LA; west-central MS: Flood Watches through Tuesday for excessive rainfall. Heaviest rainfall and flooding potential greatest over northern LA and adjacent west-central MS. I-20, I-30, I-45, I-49, I-55 potentially impacted.


— East-central PA; much of northern and central NJ: Dense Fog Advisories this morning. Major highways impacted include I-78, I-80, I-95, I-287, I-476.
