  • Dangerous heat expected this week from the Upper Midwest and Great Lakes to the Southern U.S.
  • Monsoonal showers and thunderstorms may produce flash flooding in New Mexico through tonight.
  • Slight risk of severe thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon and evening from the New York Finger Lakes southward to eastern West Virginia and northern Virginia.

Pacific:

— No significant impacts to RV travel today or Wednesday.

Mountain:

— Most of NM except eastern and northwest portions of state; far-west TX: Flood Watch through late tonight for excessive monsoon rainfall. I-10, I-25, I-40 potentially impacted.

Central:

— No significant impacts to RV travel today or Wednesday.

Eastern:

— NY Southern Tier; much of PA; eastern WV; most of MD; DC; northern VA: Slight risk of severe thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon and evening. I-64, I-68, I-70, I-76, I-80, I-81, I-84, I-86, I-88, I-99, PA Turnpike.
