Pacific:
— Heavy rain today and tonight for coastal WA and the WA Cascades. Slight risk of flooding. I-5, I-90 potentially impacted.
— Northern CA Sacramento Valley, the Delta, and northern San Joaquin Valley: Excessive Heat Warnings Friday. Forecast high temperatures 100 – 106 deg F. I-5, I-80, CA-99 impacted.
— Interior southern and southeast CA; southern NV: Excessive Heat Warnings today through Saturday. Forecast high temperatures ranging from near 110 deg F in Las Vegas to around 120 deg F in Death Valley. I-8, I-10, I-15, I-40, CA-58 impacted.
Mountain:
— Western, central and much of southern AZ: Excessive Heat Warnings today through Sunday. Forecast high temperatures of 105 -116 deg F expected. I-10, I-17, I-40 impacted.
— Eastern and southeast CO; northeast NM: Severe thunderstorms capable of large hail and intense, damaging gusts will be possible this afternoon and tonight. I-25, I-40, I-70 potentially impacted.
Central:
— Much of eastern OK, northwest AR: Dense Fog Advisories through mid-morning. I-40 impacted.
— Central and southern NE; most of KS and OK; TX Panhandle; southwest MO and northwest AR: Severe thunderstorms capable of large hail and intense, damaging gusts will be possible this afternoon and tonight. I-27, I-35, I-40, I-44, I-70, I-80 potentially impacted.
— Central and southern AR and adjacent OK and TX; LA except southwest portion of state; MS except northeast portion of state; southwest AL and far-western FL Panhandle: Severe thunderstorms expected Friday. Damaging wind gusts are the primary threat. I-10, I-12, I-20, I-30, I-40, I-49, I-55, I-59, I-65 potentially impacted.
