  • A tropical disturbance moving onshore of the Texas Gulf Coast will bring heavy rainfall and a threat of flash and urban flooding from the Corpus Christi to Houston vicinity today.
  • Flash floods are possible today as monsoonal moisture increases over the Southwest into the eastern Great Basin.
  • Strong thunderstorms may impact a areas from the central Plains into the Upper Midwest.

Pacific:

— No significant impacts to RV travel today or Friday.

Mountain:

— Southeast and southern UT: Flood Watch this afternoon and evening. Flash Flooding caused by thunderstorms with heavy rain rates is possible. Potentially impacted areas include portions of I-70, Capitol Reef National Park and Glen Canyon Recreation Area and Lake Powell.

Central:

Northern and central WI; southeast MN; northeast IA: Slight chance of severe thunderstorms today with isolated large hail and damaging winds. I-39, I-90, I-94 potentially impacted.

— TX Coast: RVers should expect heavy rains from a tropical disturbance along the TX coast from Corpus Christi to Houston today and Friday.

Eastern:

MI Upper Peninsula: Slight chance of severe thunderstorms today with isolated large hail and damaging winds.
