— South-central OR, CA Sierra Nevada, including the east slopes of the mountains: Winter Weather Advisories Friday afternoon through Saturday. Accumulations will range from 2-4 inches in the OR lower elevations to 3-6 inches above 5000 feet to 8 inches or more at pass levels. Majors highways impacted include I-80, US-50, US-395.
— Southern CA mountains, including Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles and San Diego counties: Winter Storm Warnings, Watches and Advisories tonight through Saturday. Snow levels starting at 5500 feet, lowering to 4000 feet Friday night. Accumulations up to a foot at higher elevations with wind gusts 35-45 mph. I-5 (Grapevine), I-8, I-15 will all be impacted.
— Southern CA deserts from the Apple Valley south to San Diego County: Wind Advisories early Friday morning through Saturday morning. Gusts. 50-60 mph, with blowing dust and sand. I-8, I-10 impacted.
— Northern ID: Flood Advisory through midday Friday. I-90 potentially impacted.
— Northern and and central MT east of the Rockies, eastern MT: Winter Weather Advisories through Friday morning. 1-2 inches of snow, mixed with some freezing rain and freezing drizzle. I-15, I-94 impacted.
— Central MT, north of Helena: Dense Fog Advisories through midday today. I-15 impacted.
— Portions of southeast WY, northwest NE: Winter Storm Watch Friday evening through Saturday. Potential snow accumulations range from 3-6 inches in the valleys to 6-12 inches in the mountains. I-25, I-80 impacted.
— Western SD except the Black Hills; north-central NE: Dense Fog Advisory through mid-morning. I-90 impacted.
— Eastern AZ, western NM: Expect strong winds with gusts 40-55 mph Friday afternoon. Advisories probable. I-10, I-40 impacted.
