  • Strong winds across the Northern Plains today move into the Corn Belt on Friday.

Pacific:

— Central CA Coast San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties: Dense Fog Advisory through late this morning. US-101, CA-1 impacted.

Mountain:

— No significant weather risks to RV travel today and Thursday.

Central:

— Central and western ND; northwest SD: Wind Advisories late this morning though tonight. Gusts to 50 mph. I-90, I-94 impacted.

— Southern MN, eastern SD, eastern NE, IA, southwest WI, IL, northern MO: Strong wind gusts Friday afternoon. Gusts 35-45mph. Some advisories probable. Major highways impacted include: I-29, I-35, I-39, I-55, I-57, I-72, I-74, I-80, I-90.

Eastern:

Southern MI, OH, central and eastern WV, western PA, western NY: Snow and snow showers likely late Friday night and Saturday. Several inches accumulation likely in the higher terrain of WV and southwest PA. Advisories probable. I-76 / PA Turnpike, I-79 (WV), US-220 (WV) potentially impacted.

— NY Adirondack and Catskill Mountains; most of VT; western NH; western and north-central MA; extreme northwest CT: Winter Weather Advisories continue through this afternoon Rain, freezing rain, sleet and snow. Up to an inch of additional accumulation. I-87, I-89, I-90 (Mass Pike), I-91, I-93 marginally impacted.

— Northern NH; northern ME: Winter Weather Advisories through Friday morning. Snow and sleet accumulating 3-5inches. I-95 impacted.

— Southern DELMARVA Peninsula, eastern VA, eastern NC: A few strong or severe thunderstorms possible midday.

— Northern and central FL, excluding the Panhandle: A few strong or severe thunderstorms possible this afternoon.
