— CA Sierra Nevada above 5000 feet: Winter Storm Warnings continue through Friday midday. Additional snow accumulations 7-14 inches below 7000 feet and up to 1-2 feet at higher elevations. Wind gusts to 50 mph. I-80, US-50 impacted.
— West-central NV, including Reno: Wind Advisories this evening through mid-afternoon. Wind gusts to 55 mph. I-80 impacted.
— Northeast and east-central NV: Winter Weather Advisories above 6000 feet this evening through midday Friday. 3-5 inches snow likely at pass levels. I-80 impacted.
— Southern NV north of I-15 and Las Vegas: Wind Advisories midday today through late this evening. Gusts to 45 mph. I-15 impacted.
— Southern CA interior valleys and deserts: Wind Advisories this afternoon and Friday. Gusts generally to 55 mph. I-8, I-10, I-15, I-40, CA-58 impacted.
Mountain:
— Central and south-central MT; northwest WY including Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks: Winter Storm Watches and Advisories (south-central MT) Friday and Saturday. Snow accumulations will range from 3-6 inches in the valleys to 1-2 feet in the Mountains. I-90 impacted.
— Eastern and southeast MT; northeast WY: Winter Storm Watches late Friday through late Saturday. Snow accumulations 5-14 inches with higher amounts in the mountains. Winds could gust to 60 mph producing blizzard conditions. I-25, I-90, I-94 impacted.
— Northeast UT: Winter Weather Advisories Friday and Saturday. 8-16 inches snow expected. I-15, I-80 impacted.
— Southwest, central, and south-central UT: Wind Advisories today and this evening. Gusts 50-55 mph. I-15, I-70 impacted.
— Northern and eastern AZ: Wind Advisories Friday and Friday evening. Gusts to 55 mph. I-10, I-40 impacted.
— Eastern and south-central CO, NM: High Wind Watches Friday and Friday evening. Gusts 60-75 mph. I-10, I-25, I-40, I-70, I-76 impacted.
Central:
— Western and north-central ND; far western and northwestern SD: Winter Storm Watches late Friday night through Sunday morning. Snow accumulations of 8-14 inches and wind gusts to 50 mph possible. Snow may be accompanied by some freezing rain. I-90, I-94 impacted.
— Northwest ND: Wind Advisory through this evening. Gusts to 50 mph.
— Central NE; western and central KS; western OK; OK and TX Panhandles: High Wind Watches Friday afternoon through late Friday night. Gusts 55-70 mph. I-40, I-70, I-76, I-80 impacted.
— Central and eastern KS; north-central OK: Slight risk of severe thunderstorms late this afternoon and evening. Large hail and an isolated tornado are possible. I-35, I-70 potentially impacted.
— Eastern ND; southwest MN; most of NE; northwest IA; western and central KS; western OK; TX Panhandle: Severe thunderstorms expected to develop. Large hail and strong wind gusts are the primary threats. Major highways potentially impacted include I-27, I-29, I-35, I-40, I-70, I-80, I-90, I-94.
Eastern:
— KY, OH, western MD, western PA, western and northern NY: Strong gusty winds from the southwest today, gusting 30-40 mph. Advisories possible. Major highways impacted include I-64, I-65, I-68, I-70, I-71, I-75, I-76, I-77, I-79, I-80, I-81, I-87, I-88, I-90, OH Turnpike, PA Turnpike.
