  • Snow Friday for Arizona and the Four-Corners region, including I-40, on Friday.

Pacific:

— East-central and southeast OR: Winter Weather Advisories through late this morning. Up to 2 inches additional snowfall expected. I-84, US-95 impacted.

Northern, central, eastern, and the higher terrain of southern NV: Winter Weather Advisories through this evening. Total snow accumulations of 1-4 inches in the valleys, 3-7 inches in the passes and mountains. Wind gusts to 35 mph. I-80, US-6, US-50, US-93 impacted.

— CA Sierra Nevada Mountains vicinity Yosemite National Park: Winter Weather Advisories this morning. An additional 1-5 inches of snow with wind gusts to 50 mph.

— Southeast CA deserts north of I-40 and southern Sierra Nevada mountains; southwest NV: Wind Advisories late this morning through Friday morning. Gusts to 45 mph. US-95, US-395 impacted.

South-central CA Mojave Desert Slopes: Wind Advisory through late this evening. Gusts to 55 mph. CA-58 impacted.

Mountain:

Central and east-central ID: Winter Weather Advisories this morning. 2-5 inches snow expected. US-12, US-93, US-95 impacted.

Southwest, south-central and west-central ID: Winter Weather Advisories today. 1-3 inches except higher amounts along the NV border above 5000 feet. I-84 impacted.

North-central MT along and east of the Rocky Mountain Front: High Wind Watch late Saturday morning through late Saturday night. Gusts to 60 mph. I-15 impacted.

— North-central, northeast, east-central MT: Dense Fog Advisories through midday today. I-94 impacted.

Southeast WY: High Wind Warnings through late this morning. Gusts to 60 mph. I-25, I-80 impacted.

Central, south-central and southwest UT; northern and central AZ: Winter Weather Advisories this afternoon through Friday afternoon above 3500 feet. Snow accumulations generally 2-6 inches in AZ and 6-12 inches in UT. I-15, I-17, I-40, I-70 impacted.

South-central, southeast and east-central CO; northeast NM: Winter Storm Watches Friday afternoon through Saturday afternoon. 5-10 inches snow possible. Wind gusts to 35 mph. I-25, I-70 potentially impacted.

Central:

— Western and central ND: Dense Fog Advisories through midday today. I-94 impacted.

Western KS; far-west OK Panhandle: Winter Storm Watches Friday afternoon through Saturday afternoon. 2-6 inches of snow possible. I-70 potentially impacted.

South and southeast MN; IA except for southeast portion of state; WI except for southeast portion of state: Winter Storm Warnings and Advisories continue today. Up to 4 inches additional snow accumulations. I-35, I-39, I-43, I-80, I-90, I-94 impacted.

— Central IL: Dense Fog Advisory through mid-morning. I-55, I-57, I-70, I-72, I-74 impacted.

— West-central and north-central AR: Wind Advisory today. Gusts to 45 mph. I-40, US-65, US-67 impacted.

Eastern:

Northern MI: Winter Storm Warnings (Upper Peninsula) and Advisories through tonight. 5-10 inches of snow with wind gusts to 35 mph. I-75, US-2, US-6 impacted.

Most of OH; adjacent far-east IN and adjacent far-west PA: Scattered severe thunderstorms late this afternoon and evening with damaging wind gusts being the primary hazard. However a tornado or two or large hail cannot be ruled out. Greatest threat is over west-central and central OH. I-70, I-71, I-75, I-76, I-77, I-80/90/OH Turnpike potentially impacted.

— Southeast IN; central KY; southwest OH; eastern TN: Wind Advisories this afternoon and evening. Gusts to 45 mph. I-24, I-40, I-64, I-65, I-71, I-74, I-75, I-81 impacted.

Western NC; western and southwest VA; eastern WV; western MD; west-central PA: Wind Advisories this afternoon through Friday. Gusts 45-50 mph. I-24, I-40, I-64, I-68, I-76, I-77, I-81, I-99, PA Turnpike impacted.

Northern PA; most of NY except lower Hudson Valley; northwest CT; MA except coastal regions; VT; NH; central and southern ME: Winter Storm Warnings (ME and southeast NH) and Advisories this afternoon and Friday. A mix of snow and freezing rain. More freezing rain in the west and near the coast. Snow accumulations will range from an inch or so in western NY and northwest PA to 2-6 inches in interior NY and New England to 5-8 inches in interior ME. I-80, I-81, I-84, I-86, I-87, I-88, I-89, I-90, I-91, I-93, I-95, Mass Turnpike, NY Thruway impacted.
