  • Freezing rain possible Monday afternoon and evening over the Southern Plains into the mid-Mississippi Valley.

Pacific:

— Portions of northeast CA; central and northern Sierras; greater Reno NV area: Winter Weather Advisories through this evening. Snow accumulations generally 3-6 inches at pass level. Wind gusts 50-60 mph. I-80, US-50, US-395 impacted.

— Portions of northern CA including the Sacramento Valley and north Bay area; CA central and northern Sierras: Wind Advisories Sunday afternoon through Monday afternoon. Gusts 40-50 mph. I-5, I-80, US-50 impacted.

— Much of central and south-central NV south of I-80 and north of I-15: Winter Weather Advisories through tonight. Snow accumulations mostly 1-4 inches. Wind gusts to 40 mph. US-6, US-50, US-93, US-95 impacted.

— Interior Southern CA Mojave Desert south to San Diego County deserts. Wind Advisories late this morning through tonight. Gusts 40-50 mph. I-8, I-10, I-15, I-40, CA-58 impacted.

— Southern CA Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara County interior mountains: Winter Weather Advisories this afternoon through Monday evening above 3000 feet, with 4-8 inches snow possible above 5000 feet. Wind gusts 35-45 mph. I-5 impacted.

— Southern CA San Bernardino, Riverside and San Diego County mountains: Winter Storm Warnings midday today through Tuesday morning, starting at 4000 feet. Snow accumulations will range from a few inches at 4000-5000 feet to more than 7 inches at 5500 feet and higher. Wind gusts 30-50 mph. I-8, I-15 impacted.

Mountain:

— Portions of southeast ID and adjacent western WY: Winter Storm Warnings through midday today. Up to 3-6 inches additional snowfall. Wind gusts to 30 mph. Wind chill values -30 deg F. I-15, I-84 impacted.

— Western and central UT: Winter Weather Advisories today and tonight. Snow accumulations generally 2-5 inches. Wind gusts to 50 mph in northwest UT. I-15, I-70, I-80 impacted.

— Central and southern WY: Winter Weather Advisories today. 1-3 inches additional snow, wind gusts to 35 mph, and wind chill values -25 to -35 deg F. I-25, I-80 impacted.

— Southeast WY and adjacent far-western NE: Winter Storm Warnings and Advisories through midday Monday. 3-6 inches snow. Wind chill values -20 to -30 deg F. I-25, I-80 impacted.

— South-central WY and north-central CO: Winter Storm Warnings and Advisories through Monday. Additional snow accumulations range from 4-7 inches on the Plains to 8-18 inches in the mountains. Wind gusts to 35 mph and wind chill values as low as -30 deg F. I-80 impacted.

— Southeast ID; west-central and southwest WY; northwest UT: Wind Chill Warnings this afternoon through midday Monday. Wind Chill values as low as -30 to -45 deg F. I-15, I-80, I-84 impacted.

— The high terrain of northern and central AZ and western and central NM; western CO: Strong winds this afternoon and evening. Wind gusts 35-50 mph. I-17, I-25, I-40, I-70 impacted.

— South-central CO; much of western and central NM; east-central AZ: Strong winds Monday midday and afternoon. Wind gusts 35-50 mph. I-25, I-40 impacted. Wind gusts to 35 mph along I-10 in southwest NM and southeast AZ.

— East-central and northeast NM: Freezing Fog Advisory through mid-morning today. I-40 impacted.

Central:

— Northeast OK and adjacent southeast KS: Winter Weather Advisory through midday today for freezing drizzle. I-44 impacted.

— Central and south-central TX: Dense Fog Advisories through mid-morning. I-10, I-35, impacted.

— Southeast TX as far west as I-35; central and southern LA; coastal MS; coastal AL; FL Panhandle: Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms possible Sunday. Some hail possible in TX; otherwise the primary threats are damaging wind gusts and a coupIe of tornadoes. I-10, I-12, I-35, I-45, I-49, I-55, I-59, I-65 potentially impacted.

— North-central TX including the DFW metroplex; eastern OK; northern AR: Light freezing rain Monday afternoon and evening will produce a glaze over untreated roads. I-20, I-30, I-35, I-40, I-44 potentially impacted.

— Southeast TX; central and southern LA and adjacent southwest MS: Flash Flood Watches through this evening for excessive rains. I-10, I-12, I-20, I-49, I-55, I-59 potentially impacted.

Eastern:

— Portions of northern and northeast Lower MI: Winter Weather Advisory continues through mid-morning. An additional 2-4 inches snow possible. I-75 impacted.

— Northeast IN; southeast Lower MI: Winter Weather Advisory though midday today for mixed precipitation. A light glaze possible. I-69, I-80/90/IN Toll Rd, I-94 impacted.

— East-central WV: Winter Weather Advisory through mid-morning. Freezing rain will produce a light glaze. US-33, US-219 impacted.

— Northern NY and northern ME: Winter Weather Advisories through tonight. 2-7 inches snow expected. I-95, US-11 impacted.
