  • Heavy rains Monday and Tuesday for the northern Gulf Coast and Florida, respectively.
  • Major winter storm will impact the central and eastern U.S. starting mid-week, with snow, high winds and very cold temperatures.

Pacific:

— WA far northern Puget Sound: Winter Weather Advisory through this afternoon. An additional inch of snow possible. I-5 impacted.

West-central WA: Winter Weather Advisory for the Cascades through this evening. 3-9 inches of additional snowfall are possible. I-90 impacted.

East-central, northeast WA; northern ID: Winter Weather Advisories through Monday morning. 1-4 inches of snow; freezing drizzle also possible. I-90 impacted.

— CA southern Sacramento and San Joaquin Valleys: Dense Fog Advisories through midday today. I-5, I-80, CA-99 impacted.

— Northeast NV: Freezing Fog Advisory through midday today. I-80 impacted.

Mountain:

Northwest MT: Winter Weather Advisory through midday Monday. Additional snow accumulations 3-6 inches. I-90 impacted.

— Southwest MT: Winter Weather Advisory through midday today for areas of blowing snow. I-15 impacted.

— Portions of northeast and north-central MT: Winter Weather Advisory through midday today. An inch of new snow expected. US-2 impacted.

Southeast WY: High Wind Warnings and Watches this morning and again late tonight through Monday afternoon. Gusts 60-65 mph. I-25, I-80 impacted.

— Much of western and northwest WY: Strong winds Monday afternoon. Gusts 40-55 mph.

Central:

— West-central SD: Freezing Fog Advisory through midday today. I-90 impacted.

Much of ND, SD and north-central NE: Wind Chill Watch late Monday night through Friday. Wind chill values as low as -50 deg F. I-29, I-90, I-94 to be impacted.

— Eastern TX; central and northern LA: Heavy rains Monday and Monday night, with a possibility of isolated flash flooding. I-20, I-49 potentially impacted.

Eastern:

— Portions of MI north-central Upper Peninsula and southwest Lower Peninsula: Winter Weather Advisories through early this afternoon. An inch or two additional accumulation. Wind gusts to 35 mph. I-94, I-196, US-31 impacted.

MI northwest Lower Peninsula: Winter Weather Advisories through tonight. 2-6 inches lake effect snow. I-75 impacted.

Northwest PA and southwest NY downwind of Lake Erie: Lake Effect Snow Warnings through midday Monday. Additional accumulations up to 9-18 inches. Wind gusts to 35 mph. I-90, NY Thruway impacted.

Western and north-central NY downwind of Lake Ontario: Lake Effect Snow Warning and Winter Weather Advisories through Monday evening. Up to 2-3 feet of lake effect snow in the usual favored locations. 3-5 inches snow expected along the Thruway. I-81, I-90, NY Thruway impacted.

Northern ME: Winter Storm Warnings continue through Monday afternoon. Additional snow accumulations of 6-12 inches. I-95 impacted.
