  • Winter conditions return to the West, Southwest and Northern Rockies starting tonight. High winds and mountain snows will impact I-5, I-10, I-15, I-40 and I-90.
  • Travel across much of Arizona and New Mexico will be very difficult Tuesday and Wednesday.

Pacific:

WA Cascades: Winter Storm Watch this evening through Monday evening. 8-24 inches snow, wind gusts to 40 mph. I-90 impacted.

Northern and central OR Coast above 1000 feet: Winter Storm Watches Monday through Tuesday afternoon. Snow accumulations 4-8 inches above 1000 feet and 8-16 inches above 2000 feet. Wind gusts to 40 mph. US-101 impacted.

Northeast OR Blue Mountains: Winter Weather Advisory this evening through Monday evening. Snowfall 6-10 inches. Wind gusts to 40 mph. I-84 impacted.

— OR Cascades: Winter Storm Watch late tonight through Tuesday afternoon. 10-20 inches snow and wind gusts to 45 mph.

— OR Central and southern Willamette Valley: Dense Fog Advisory this morning. I-5 impacted.

Southwest and south-central OR; northwest CA: Winter Storm Watches and Advisories Monday and Tuesday above 1500 feet. 3-6 inches of snow possible. Wind gusts 35-50 mph. I-5, US-101 impacted.

Northwest CA and northern coastal CA: Wind Advisories Monday afternoon and Monday night. Gusts to 55 mph. US-101, CA-1 impacted.

— Central CA Big Sur coast: Wind Advisory Monday afternoon and Tuesday. Gusts to 45 mph. CA-1 impacted.

— CA Southern Sierra Nevada Range: High Wind Warning through this evening. Gusts to 75 mph.

Much of interior southeast CA; southern CA San Bernardino, Riverside and San Diego County mountains; southwest and southern NV: High Wind Watches Tuesday. Gusts to 60 mph. I-8, I-10, I-15, I-40, US-6, US-95, US-395 impacted.

Southern CA San Bernardino, Riverside and San Diego County Mountains above 4000 feet: Winter Weather Advisories this afternoon and tonight. Up to 2-4 inches of slushy snow possible. I-8, I-15 impacted.

Mountain:

Northwest MT along and east of the Rocky Mountain Front: High Wind Warning this afternoon through Monday afternoon. Gusts to 80 mph. I-15, US-89 impacted.

South-central MT Livingston and Beartooth Foothills: Wind Advisory this evening through Monday afternoon. Gusts to 60 mph. I-90 impacted.

Portions of northwest, central, south-central and southeast MT: Winter Storm Watches Monday afternoon through Tuesday evening. Snow accumulations generally 4-10 inches. Wind gusts to 35 mph. I-15, I-90 impacted.

Portions of central, east-central and southeast AZ above 5000 feet: Winter Weather Advisories Monday. Accumulations generally 2-6 inches. Wind gusts to 40 mph. This area is south of I-40, east of I-17 and above the elevation of I-10.

— South-central CO; north-central NM: Winter Storm Watches (NM) and Advisories Monday and Monday night. 8-12 inches snow above 8000 feet. Wind gusts to 50 mph. This region is both higher elevation, and north and west of, I-25

— Much of eastern ND and northwest MN: Dense Fog Advisories today. I-29, I-94 impacted.

— Southeast AL and western FL Panhandle: Wind Advisory continues through this afternoon. Gusts to 40 mph. I-10 impacted.

Eastern:

— Southern GA; much of FL north of a line from Cape Coral to West Palm Beach: Wind Advisories today. Gusts 40-45 mph. I-4, I-10, I-75, I-95 impacted.

Southwest and western VA; eastern WV; extreme eastern KY: Winter Weather Advisories through midnight tonight. Snow, sleet and freezing rain. Accumulations up to 3 inches. I-64, I-77, I-81, US-219 impacted.

Western NC and adjacent eastern TN: Winter Storm Warnings (above 3500 feet)) and Advisories (below 3500 feet) through midnight tonight. Up to 7 inches snow above 3500 feet. A couple of inches below 3500 feet. Some sleet and freezing rain will mix in. Wind gusts to 45 mph. I-26, I-40 impacted.

— NC: Strong winds this morning. Gusts 30-40 mph. I-26, I-40, I-73, I-77, I-85, I-95, US-52 impacted.
