  • Autumn storm brings heavy rain, potential for significant flash flooding and strong winds to southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois.
  • Heavy rains and flash flooding also possible today across parts of southern California and Florida’s Big Bend region.
  • Expect significant rainfall later this week across the Great Basin and inter-Mountain West.

Pacific:

— Southern CA from San Luis Obispo County southeast to Los Angeles County mountains: Flood Watches continue this evening. I-5 potentially impacted.

— East-central NV: Flood Watch late Monday night through Thursday.

Mountain:

— No significant weather impacts to RV travel today or Monday.

Central:

Southern WI and adjacent northern IL: Flood Warnings, Advisories and Watches through Monday afternoon. 3-5 inches of rain likely for much of this region; some locations could see over 5 inches of rainfall. If you are camping, pay close attention to rising streams and creeks. Seek higher ground before your access routes are cut off. Do not drive or tow across flooded roadways; follow the directions of local emergency management officials. I-39, I-43, I-88, I-90, I-94 potentially impacted.

Southern and southeast WI; northern IL: Strong winds this afternoon through Monday morning. Gusts 30-40 mph except gusts 35-50 mph near Lake Michigan. I-39, I-43, I-90, I-94 impacted.

Eastern:

— Most of PA; MD except the Eastern Shore; northeast WV; northern VA: A few strong to severe thunderstorms possible on Monday. Major highways potentially impacted include I-64, I-66, I-68, I-70, I-76, I-80, I-81, I-83, I-84, I-99, PA Turnpike.

— FL eastern Panhandle and Big Bend region: Flood Watches continue through this afternoon. I-10 potentially impacted.
