  • Late season Pacific storms bring snow to low elevations of Oregon and northwest California impacted I-5, and strong winds over much of interior central and southern California and the Great Basin.
  • A several day stretch of strong winds are likely across portions of the Four Corners region into the southern High Plains and especially in New Mexico.
  • Coastal storm along the mid-Atlantic coast will create strong winds and coastal flooding along the New Jersey and Delaware coasts tonight.

Pacific:

— Central WA; south-central WA and north-central OR: Wind Advisories midday today through this evening. Gusts to 55 mph. I-82, I-84, I-90 impacted.

— OR Cascades above 4000 feet: Winter Weather Advisories this evening through midday Saturday. 4-10 inches snow likely. Winds gusting to 35 mph.

— Southwest OR and northwest CA above 2000 feet. Winter Weather Advisories tonight through Sunday midday. 1-3 inches at 2000 feet and 3-7 inches snow at 3000 feet. I-5, US-101 impacted.

— Central and southern CA San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara coastal regions: Wind Advisory this afternoon and evening. Gusts to 35 mph. US-101, CA-1 impacted.

— CA Eastern Slopes of central and southern Sierra Nevada; southern and southeast interior CA; central and southern NV: High Wind Watches and Advisories starting midmorning today and continuing through Sunday. Wind Gusts generally 50-60 mph, except high in favored locations along the eastern slopes of the Sierra Nevada. I-8, I-10, I-15, I-40, US-395, CA-58 impacted.

Mountain:

— Central ID; adjacent west-central MT: Winter Weather Advisories through mid-morning above 5000 feet. Total snow accumulations 2-5 inches.

— Southeast ID: Wind Advisory through this evening. Gusts to 50 mph. I-15 impacted.

— Southern and southeast UT; west-central and southwest CO; northern and central AZ; northwest, north-central and central NM: High Wind Watches and Advisories midday today through this evening and again midday Sunday through Sunday evening. Gusts 50-60 mph. I-15, I-17, I-25, I-40, I-70 impacted.

— Eastern CO, eastern NM: Expect gusts 40-50 mph midday today through this evening and again midday Sunday through Sunday evening. I-25, I-40, I-70, I-76 impacted.

Central:

— Eastern ND and adjacent northwest MN: Wind Advisory this afternoon and evening. Gusts to 45 mph. I-94 impacted.

— Western and central NE: Scattered severe storms capable of large hail and isolated damaging wind are possible, mainly this evening and tonight. I-80 potentially impacted.

Eastern:

— Southwest, south-central and central PA; eastern WV; western and central MD; northern VA; DC: Flood Watches and Advisories continue through this afternoon.

— Coastal NJ and DE: Coastal Flood Warning tonight. If you are camping near or on the coast, be aware of local warnings and any direction from local emergency management officials.

— Southern and central NJ; DE: Wind Advisories through early Sunday morning. Gusts to 50 mph. I-95, NJ Turnpike impacted.
