  • Sustained high winds southeast Wyoming impact I-25 and I-80 through Monday.
  • A light wintry mix possible over the Mid-Atlantic region Sunday and Sunday night.

Pacific:

— North-central WA: Winter Weather Advisories through this evening. 4-7 inches snow likely.

Northeast OR: High Wind Warnings and Advisories through this evening. Wind gusts 50-65 mph. Strongest winds at the base of the Blue Mountains east of Pendleton. I-84, US-395 impacted.

— East-central OR and adjacent west-central ID: Dense fog advisory through mid-morning. I-84 impacted.

— South-central OR and northeast CA: High Wind Warnings and Advisories today and tonight. Wind gusts 50-60 mph. US-395 impacted.

Southwest OR and north-central CA I-5 corridor Siskiyou Pass between Medford OR and Weed CA: High Wind Warnings (CA) and Advisories (OR) today and tonight. Wind gusts 45-65 mph. Strongest winds on the CA / south side of the pass. I-5 impacted.

Most of northern and central CA from Big Sur to the OR coast and in the interior, from north of Bakersfield to Redding: Wind Advisories today and Sunday. Wind gusts generally 40-50 mph. I-5, I-80, US-101, CA-1, CA-99 impacted.

Most of northern and central CA west of the Sierra Nevada mountains from Big Sur to Eureka and from south of Bakersfield to north of Redding: Flood Watches Saturday afternoon through Tuesday for multiple additional rounds of moderate to heavy rain. Expect particularly heavy rain on Monday and Monday night. Major highways potentially impacted include I-5, I-80, US-101, CA-1, CA-58, CA-99

Northern CA above 4000 feet: Winter Storm Warnings through Sunday morning. 10-20 inches of snow expected; snow accumulations could reach 3 feet above 5500 feet. Wind gusts to 60 mph. Snow levels will lower to I-5 level near Black Butte Summit tonight. I-5 impacted.

CA Sierra Nevada Mountains: Winter Storm Warnings through late Tuesday. 1-3 feet of snow likely through this weekend and additional feet of snow probable early next week. 3-6 or more feet of snow are possible above 8000 feet in the southern Sierra Nevada by the end of these storms. Wind gusts to 55 mph. I-80, US-50 impacted.

Mountain:

— Portions of southwest and south-central MT: Dense Fog Advisories through midday today. I-15, I-90 impacted.

Southeast WY: High Wind Warnings this evening through midday Monday. Gusts to 65 mph. I-25, I-80 impacted.

— Northeast UT; northwest and west-central CO: Dense Fog Advisories through mid-morning. I-70 impacted.

— South-central AZ between Phoenix and Tucson: Dense Fog Advisories this morning. I-10 impacted.

Central:

— Much of central and eastern SD; southwest and south-central MN; northwest IA: Dense Fog Advisories through midday today. I-29, I-35, I-90 impacted.

— Central and northern MO : A light rain/snow mix tonight. Chance of an inch or so accumulation. I-70 marginally impacted.

Eastern:

— South-central and southeast PA; MD; eastern WV; central; northwest and northern VA: A combination of rain, sleet, freezing rain and snow is possible Sunday and Sunday night. Most snow will melt on contact with the roads. 1-2 inches snow possible in PA and VA at higher elevations. I-70, I-76 / PA Turnpike, I-81 marginally impacted.
