  • Storm system moving across the Southern U.S. will provide areas of heavy rain and thunderstorms across Texas and the Gulf Coast, then bring rain to much of the East tonight and Sunday.
  • Heavy snow develops across the Cascades and northern Rockies tonight and Sunday.
  • Windy Sunday afternoon over the Ohio Valley, Carolinas, and DELMARVA Peninsula.

Pacific:

WA Cascades OR Cascades above 1500 feet: Winter Storm Warnings and Watches this evening through Monday morning. Snow accumulations will range from 2-6 inches below 3000 feet to 8-15 inches at higher elevations in WA and 12-18 inches in OR. Wind gusts to 45 mph. I-90 impacted.

Northeast OR Blue Mountains: Winter Storm Watch Sunday morning through Monday afternoon. Snow accumulations will range from 2-5 inches below 3500 feet to 5-8 inches at higher elevations. Wind gusts of 35 mph. I-84 impacted.

Northern ID: Winter Storm Watch Sunday. Up to 4-7 inches snow in the mountains and passes possible. I-90 impacted.

Mountain:

Portions of northwest, central and south-central MT: Winter Weather Advisories Sunday morning through Monday morning. Snow accumulations generally 2-3 inches with winds gusting 40-50 mph. I-90 impacted.

North-central, central and south-west MT: High Wind Watches late tonight through Sunday evening. Gusts to 65 mph except gusts to 75 mph near the Rocky Mountain Front. I-15, I-90 impacted.

Southeast WY I-25 between Chugwater and Wheatland: High Wind Warning through late this morning. Gusts to 75 mph. I-25 impacted.

Southeast WY: Winter Weather Advisory late this afternoon through early Sunday morning. 1-3 inches snow likely. I-80 impacted.

Parts of southeast and south-central WY: High Wind Watches Sunday morning through late Sunday night. Gusts to 65 mph. I-25, I-80 impacted.

— Central CO along and west of I-25: Snow late tonight through early Sunday morning. 1-3 inches generally expected. Advisories possible. I-25, I-70 impacted.

Central:

Western TX near and south of the I-10/I-20 split in the Guadalupe, Delaware and Davis Mountains: High Wind Warning this morning through this evening. Gusts 60-70 mph. I-10/I-20 split impacted.

— Southeast TX: Flood Watch continues through midday today for excessive rainfall. I-10, I-45 impacted.

— Southern LA; southern MS; southern AL; western FL Peninsula: Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms possible today. Locally strong wind gusts and perhaps a tornado or two are possible. I-10, I-12, I-49, I-55, I-59, I-65 potentially impacted.

— Southeast LA; southern MS; most of AL; far-western FL Panhandle: Wind Advisories this afternoon and tonight. Gusts to 40 mph. I-10, I-12, I-20, I-55, I-59, I-65, I-85 impacted.

Eastern:

Northern NH and western ME: Wind Advisory this morning. Gusts to 50 mph. I-93 impacted.

Far-western NC and the TN border: High Wind Warnings (TN) and Advisories (NC) this evening through Sunday evening. Wind gusts 50-60 mph. I-26, I-40 impacted.

— Most of KY, WV, central and eastern OH, NC, northern SC, DELMARVA Peninsula: Strong winds Sunday afternoon. Gusts 30-45 mph. Advisories possible. I-26, I-40, I-64, I-65, I-70, I-71, I-74, I-75, I-76, I-77, I-79, I-85, I-95, US-13 impacted.
