Central, Eastern:
Wind Chill Warnings and Advisories continue to cover much of the country from Montana to Texas on the western boundary and New York to Florida on the east. Winds ease and temperatures moderate starting Sunday.
Pacific:
— Portions of northwest WA: Flood Watches through late Sunday night for a combination of excessive rain and snowmelt. I-5, I-90 potentially impacted.
— Coastal WA; northern Puget Sound: Wind Advisories through this afternoon. Gusts to 50 mph. I-5, US-101 impacted.
— Northwest WA western side of the Cascades: ICE STORM Warning through late tonight. Up to one inch of freezing rain (ice) possible. I-90 impacted.
— WA Cascades; northern OR Cascades: Winter Storm Warnings through tonight for a combination of snow and freezing rain. Up to 2 inches of snow and 1/2 inch ice possible. I-84, I-90 impacted.
— Northern ID; central and eastern WA; adjacent northern OR: Winter Weather Advisories today. 2-4 inches snow, mixed with some freezing rain. I-82, I-84, I-90, US-395 impacted.
— OR/WA western Columbia Gorge: Winter Storm Warnings through this evening. Snow, sleet and freezing rain. Up to 1/2 inch ice accumulation. Wind gusts to 50 mph. I-84 impacted.
— East-central OR; adjacent west-central ID: Winter Weather Advisory this evening through Sunday morning. A combination of snow, sleet and freezing rain. Up to an inch of snow possible. I-84 impacted.
— Portions of southwest OR and northern CA: Dense Fog Advisories this morning. I-5 impacted.
— Central CA Sacramento, San Joaquin, and Salinas Valleys: Dense Fog Advisories through midday today. I-5, I-80, US-101, CA-99 impacted.
— Portions of northeast NV: Dense Fog Advisory this morning. I-80 impacted.
Mountain:
— Northwest MT along and east of the Rocky Mountain Front: BLIZZARD Warnings through midday Sunday. 5-8 inches additional snowfall and wind gusts 70-90 mph. I-15 impacted.
— Northwest and central MT; north-central ID: Combination of Winter Storm Warnings and Advisories through Sunday morning. 1-3 inches of snow and sleet and up to 1/4 inch of freezing rain (ice). I-15, I-90 impacted.
— South-central MT Beartooth Foothills and Livingston area: Wind Advisories this evening through Sunday morning. Gusts to 60 mph. I-90 impacted.
—Southeast WY: High Wind Warnings this afternoon through Monday morning. Gusts to 65 mph. I-25, I-80 impacted.
Central:
— MN Arrowhead: BLIZZARD Warning through Sunday morning. Up to an inch of additional snowfall. Winds gusting to 60 mph. Wind chill temperatures -35 deg F. I-35 impacted.
— Northern and northeast WI: Winter Weather Advisories today for blowing and drifting snow. Wind gusts to 35 mph and wind chill temperatures -15 to -25 deg F. I-43 impacted.
— Southeast MN; northeast IA; northern IL: Winter Weather Advisories through midday today for continued blowing and drifting snow. Wind gusts to 40 mph and wind chill temperatures -30 deg F. Major highways impacted include I-35, I-39, I-55, I-57, I-80, I-88, I-90, I-94, I-380 (IA).
Eastern:
— MI northern Lower Peninsula and along the shorelines of Lakes Michigan and Superior: BLIZZARD Warnings continue through this evening. An additional 4-9 inches of snow and wind gusts 45-60 mph. I-75, I-94, I-196, US-2, US-31 impacted.
— Remainder of MI Lower Peninsula; northern IN; western OH: Winter Storm Warnings and Advisories through this afternoon for blowing snow and wind gusts 30-45 mph. Major highways impacted include I-65 I-69, I-71, I-75, I-80/90, I-94, I-96, OH Turnpike, IN Toll Road.
— Western NY from the PA state line to north of Watertown: A combination of BLIZZARD, Lake Effect Snow and Winter Storm Warnings in effect through midday Sunday. The worst areas will see 3-4 feet of snow and wind gusts to 70 mph. I-81, I-90 / NY Thruway highly impacted.
