  • Windy conditions from the Southwest eastward into the Central Plains through the weekend.
    • Significant cross-winds today continue on I-40, I-70, I-80, I-90.
  • Heavy wet snow and strong winds will produce blizzard conditions across the northern Plains through Sunday.
  • Severe thunderstorms and heavy rains are possible in a corridor from parts of the Upper Midwest into the southern Great Plains.

Pacific:

— Southern CA Ventura and Los Angeles County Mountains: Wind Advisory continues through mid-morning. Gusts to 55 mph. I-5, I-10 impacted.

Mountain:

— Northeast UT: Winter Weather Advisories through midday today. Additional accumulations 2-5 inches. I-80 impacted.

Parts of central and southwest MT; central, south-central and northwest WY; mountains of north-central CO: Winter Storm Warnings and Advisories continue through late this evening. Total snow accumulations 4-10 inches at lower elevations and 1-2 feet at higher elevations. Wind gusts 35-45 mph. I-15, I-70, I-80, I-90 impacted.

Eastern MT; central and eastern WY: Blizzard and Winter Storm Warnings and Advisories continue through Sunday morning. Additional snow accumulations up to 6-18 inches and wind gusts 50-65 mph. I-25, I-80, I-90, I-94 highly impacted.

Southeast WY; northeast CO; far-western NE: High Wind Warnings through tonight. Gusts to 65 mph. I-25, I-76, I-80 impacted.

— Northeast and east-central NM: Wind Advisories today. Gusts to 50 mph. Additionally, wildfire smoke may reduce visibility. I-25, I-40 impacted.

Central:

Western and north-central ND; northwest SD: Blizzard Warnings continue through Sunday evening. Total snow accumulations of 8-14 inches and wind gusts 55-65 mph. Snow may be accompanied by some freezing rain. I-90, I-94 highly impacted.

— Northeast ND and northwest MN: Flood Watch through this evening for excessive rainfall. I-29 potentially impacted.

Most of SD; southwest and southern MN; western and eastern NE; most of IA; eastern KS; western MO; central and northeast OK: High Wind Warnings and Advisories through this evening. Gusts 50-60 mph. I-29, I-25, I-40, I-70, I-80, I-90 impacted.

— Southeast and eastern OK; northwest AR; southwest MO: Flood Watch Sunday morning through Monday morning for excessive rainfall. I-35, I-40, I-44 potentially impacted.

Eastern ND; eastern SD; MN; IA; northwest MO; eastern KS; northeast, central and south-central OK: Severe thunderstorms possible today and tonight. Damaging winds, large hail and a few tornadoes all possible. I-29, I-35, I-40, I-44, I-70, I-80, I-90, I-94 potentially impacted.

Eastern:

— No significant weather issues for RV’s today or Sunday.
