  • Severe storms and flash flooding are possible this afternoon and evening from the Southern Plains through the Ohio Valley into Northern New England.
  • Heavy snow tapers off over Colorado this morning.
  • Early season heat with likely record high temperatures will continue today over parts of Texas, the Lower Mississippi Valley, the Southeast, Ohio Valley, Mid-Atlantic, and Northeast.

Pacific:

— No significant weather issues for RV travel today and Sunday.

Mountain:

— Central and south-central CO: Winter Storm Warnings and Advisories continue through midday today. A few additional inches accumulation this morning. Expect snow-covered roads today and icy roads tonight. I-25, I-70 impacted.

— Central NM: Wind Advisory tonight. Gusts 45-50 mph. I-25, I-40 impacted.

— Eastern UT; western CO; northwest NM; northeast AZ: Winds gusting 30-40 mph Sunday afternoon. Advisories unlikely. I-25, I-40, I-70 impacted.

Central:

— Parts of eastern ND, northern MN: Flood warnings continue due to excessive rainfall. Some road in the vicinity of I-29 may be impacted.

South-central and northeast TX; southeast OK; AR; southern MO; southern IL; northwest TN; western KY: Scattered severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening capable of producing both damaging winds and large hail. Major highways potentially impacted include I-10, I-20, I-30, I-35, I-40, I-45, I-55, I-57, I-64.

Most of AR; southeast MO; southern IL; southwest IN; western KY; northwest TN: Slight chance of flash flooding associated with multiple lines of heavy rain showers and thunderstorms. Major highways potentially impacted include I-30, I-40, I-55, I-57, I-64.

Eastern:

Much of IN except northwest portion of state; northern and western OH; northwest PA; western and northern NY; northern VT; northern NH; northern ME: Scattered severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening capable of producing both damaging winds and large hail. Major highways potentially impacted include I-65, I-69, I-70, I-71, I-77, I-79, I-80, I-81, I-87, I-88, I-89, I-91, I-93, OH and PA Turnpikes and NY Thruway.
