Pacific:
— Portions of central and south-central WA: Dense Fog Advisories through midday today. I-82, I-90 impacted.
— OR Southern Cascade range above 4000 feet: Winter Weather Advisories tonight through Sunday morning. 7-14 inches of snow and wind gusts to 45 mph.
— Southwest OR; north-central CA I-5 Siskiyou Pass: High Wind Warnings and Advisories through this afternoon. Gusts 40-60 mph. I-5 impacted.
— Northern CA above 4000 feet: Winter Weather Advisories this afternoon and tonight. 8-15 inches snow; up to 20 inches above 5000 feet. Wind gusts to 40 mph. I-5 impacted.
— Most of CA: Next storms roll in, bringing strong winds today gusting 40-50 mph, heavy, flooding rains through Monday and up to 3-6 feet more snow for the Sierra Nevada through Monday. The storm moves into southern CA starting tonight, with Winter Storm Warnings for the San Bernardino and Riverside County Mountains above 5000 feet. Wind Advisories, Flood Watches and Advisories and Winter Storm Warnings are all in effect. Virtually all major highways in the state will be impacted in some way.
— Southwest NV Spring Mountains and Red-Rock Canyon: Winter Storm Warning this afternoon and tonight. 7-10 inches snow below 7000 feet and wind gusts to 40 mph. US-95 on northern edge of warning; I-15 to the south and east of the warned area.
— Southeast and east-central NV: Winter Weather Advisories this afternoon and tonight. 2-5 inches of snow in the valleys and 6-10 inches snow in the mountains. I-15 is to the south of this region and I-80 is to the north. US-6, US-50, US-93 impacted.
Mountain:
— West-central MT; central and east-central ID: Winter Weather Advisories this morning for a mix of freezing rain and snow. Up to an inch of snow with some ice expected. I-15, I-90 impacted.
— North-central MT: Winter Weather Advisories today for a mix of freezing rain and snow. 1-2 inches of snow with some ice expected.
— Central and east-central WY including Casper: High Wind Warnings continue through this morning. Gusts 40-70 mph. I-25 impacted.
— Southeast ID: Dense Fog Advisory through midday today. I-15 impacted.
— Southeast WY: High Wind Warnings and Watches through this afternoon. Gusts 45-55 mph. I-25, I-80 impacted.
— Portions of southwest, central and eastern UT; northern, central and east-central AZ above 5500 feet; western CO; north-central NM: Winter Storm Warnings and Advisories this evening through Sunday. Expected snow accumulations generally less than a foot in the valleys and lower elevations and 1-2 feet in the mountains and high passes. Gusts to 40 mph. I-15, I-17, I-40, I-70, I-80 impacted.
— Eastern AZ; NM; far-west TX: High winds Sunday. Gusts 45-60 mph. Wind Advisories and high wind watches are posted for parts of AZ and NM – they will likely be expanded later today, I-10, I-19, I-25, I-40 impacted.
Central:
— West TX Davis Mountains, south of the I-10/I-20 split: High Wind Watch for Sunday. Gusts to 60 mph.
— TX and OK Panhandles: Strong winds Sunday midday through evening. Gusts 35-50 mph. I-27, I-40 impacted.
— Northeast TX; central and eastern OK; southern and central KS; northwest AR and southwest MO: Strong Winds Sunday midday through Sunday evening. Gusts 30-40 mph. I-20, I-30, I-35, I-40, I-44, I-70 impacted.
Eastern:
— West-central and northwest NC; southwest VA: Wind Advisories through this evening. Gusts 40-50 mph. I-40, I-77 impacted.
— Portions of east-central and southeast WV; southwest Va; along the TN/NC border: Winter Storm Warnings (TN/NC above 3500 feet) and Advisories (elsewhere) through early this afternoon. Additional snow accumulations 1-2 inches in WV and VA, 2-4 inches along the TN/NC border. Wind gusts 35-40 mph. I-26, I-40, I-64, I-77, I-81 impacted.
— Southeast coastal MA including all of Cape Cod: Wind Advisories tonight through late Sunday evening. Gusts to 50 mph. US-6, MA-3 impacted.
— Southeast NH; coastal and Downeast ME: Winter Weather Advisories this morning. Up to an additional inch of snow. I-93, I-95, US-3 impacted.
