  • Be prepared for heavy rains southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois Saturday night through Sunday night.

Pacific:

— WA Cascade Mountains: Strong easterly winds through this afternoon. Gusts 30-45 mph.

— Much of southern CA and the southern Sierra Nevada, except the immediate coastal regions north of San Diego County; southern NV: Flood Watches through this evening due to heavy rains associated with the remnants of Kay. 1-2 inches of additional rainfall possible in localized areas. I-8, I-10, I-15, I-40, CA-58 potentially impacted.

Mountain:

— Northwest and west-central AZ: Flood Watches through this evening for rainfall associated with the remnants of Kay. 1 to 2 inches rain possible in localized areas. I-8, I-10, I-40 potentially impacted.

Southeast WY: Dense Fog Advisories all day today. I-25, I-80 impacted.

— North-central NM: Flood Watch this afternoon and evening. I-25 potentially impacted.

Central:

— Northeast MN and northwest WI: Dense Fog Advisory this morning. I-35 impacted.

Southern WI and northern IL: Heavy rains late tonight through Sunday night. 1-3 inches of rain likely, creating the potential for flash flooding.

Eastern:

— Central NC: Flood Watch through Sunday evening. I-40 potentially impacted.

Southeast NC; central and eastern SC; southeast GA; northern and central FL, east of the Panhandle: Marginally severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening, capable of producing damaging wind gusts or a tornado or two. I-4, I-10, I-16, I-20, I-26, I-40, I-75, I-77, I-95 potentially impacted.

— FL Gulf Coast from the Panhandle to Port Charlotte. Flood Watches in effect through this evening for excessive rainfall. I-4, I-10, I-75 potentially impacted.
