— Northwest WA Puget Sound Lowlands east of Puget Sound: Wind Advisory this morning. Gusts to 45 mph. I-90 impacted.
— Southeast WA; north-central and northeast OR: High Wind Warnings and Advisories through this afternoon. Wind gusts 45-65 mph. Strongest winds at the base of the Blue Mountains east of Pendleton. I-84, US-395 impacted.
— Immediate coastal south-central and southwest OR: High Wind Warnings through early this afternoon. Gusts to 60 mph. US-101 impacted.
— South-central and southwest OR; northeast CA: Wind Advisories this morning. Wind gusts 45-55 mph. I-5, US-395 impacted.
— Northern CA I-5 corridor between Yreka and Weed: High Wind Warning this morning. Gusts to 65 mph. I-5 impacted.
— Northwest coastal CA: High Wind Warnings and advisories this morning. Gusts 60-85 mph. Strongest wind gusts on exposed mountain ridges and headlands. US-101 impacted.
— Most of northern and central CA from Big Sur to the OR coast and in the interior, from north of Bakersfield to Redding: High Wind Warnings (north and west) and Advisories through early this afternoon. Wind gusts generally 50-60 mph except 80 mph on exposed mountains and ridge lines. High winds will end from north to south today. I-5, I-80, US-101, CA-1, CA-99 impacted.
— Most of northern and central CA west of the Sierra Nevada mountains from Oceanside to Eureka and from the Inland Empire to north of Redding: Flood Watches and Advisories through late Tuesday night. Expect particularly heavy rain this afternoon into Tuesday. Major highways potentially impacted include I-5, I-80, US-101, CA-1, CA-58, CA-99
— Southern CA from the Santa Barbara coast, north of Los Angeles, and east to the Mojave Desert: High Wind Warnings (western portion) and Advisories through Tuesday. Highest winds in coastal regions and in the mountains northeast and north of Los Angeles. Wind gusts 50-70 mph. Major highways impacted include I-5, I-10, I-15, I-40, US-101, CA-58, CA-1.
— Central and southern coastal CA: Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms possible on Tuesday, causing damaging winds and even a brief tornado. I-5, I-8, I-10, US-101, CA-1 potentially impacted.
— Central and southern NV: Wind Advisories through Tuesday. Gusts to 50 mph. I-15, US-6, US-50, US-93, US-95 impacted.
— Northern CA above 5000 feet: Winter Storm Warnings continue through this morning. Total snow accumulations of 16-24 inches. Wind gusts to 90 mph on the high peaks.
— CA Sierra Nevada Mountains: Winter Storm Warnings through Tuesday. Additional snow accumulations of 10-20 inches above 5000 feet and 2-4 feet on higher passes. Wind gusts to 70 mph. I-80, US-50 impacted.
— Northwest and west-central NV along the CA border: Winter Storm Watches late tonight through Tuesday afternoon. 1-4 inches except 4-18 inches above 6000 feet. Wind gusts to 45 mph. I-80, US-6, US-50, US-95 potentially impacted.
— Much of central and northern NV above 6500 feet: Winter Weather Advisories this afternoon through Tuesday. Snow accumulations up to 20 inches and wind gusts to 50 mph. US-6, US-50, US-93 impacted.
Mountain:
— Northwest and north-central MT; north-central ID: Winter Weather Advisories through mid-morning. An inch or so of snow mixed with freezing rain. I-90 impacted.
— Central and eastern ID; western WY: Winter Weather Advisories midday today through Tuesday. Snow accumulations will range from 3-8 inches in the valleys to 6-12 inches in higher terrain and the passes. Wind gusts 30-50 mph. I-15 impacted.
— North-central, central and southwest UT: Winter Weather Advisories midday today through Wednesday afternoon. 8-16 inches snow except higher amounts in the Wasatch and Cottonwood Ranges. Advisory area is mostly to the east of I-15, but I-15 and I-70 will be impacted in the higher terrain of central and southwest UT. I-15, I-70 impacted.
— West-central and southwest UT; northwest AZ: Wind Advisories this afternoon and Tuesday. Gusts 50-55 mph. I-15, I-40 impacted.
— Central and southeast WY: High Wind Warnings and Watches through Tuesday. Gusts 60-65 mph. I-25, I-80 impacted.
— Southeast NM and adjacent far-west TX Delaware and Guadalupe Mountains: High Wind Watch Wednesday. Gusts to 65 mph. US-180 potentially impacted.
— Much of eastern NM: Strong Winds Wednesday midday and afternoon. Gusts 40-50 mph. I-25, I-40 impacted.
