Pacific:
— Central and east-central WA: Excessive Heat Warnings today and Tuesday. High temperatures 100-106 deg F. I-90 impacted.
Mountain:
— Most of AZ: Heavier monsoon rains return Tuesday. Some flood watches will be likely. I-8, I-10, I-17, I-40 potentially impacted.
— Portions of north-central NM; east-central CO: Flood Watches this afternoon and evening from monsoon thunderstorms. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded. I-25, I-70 potentially impacted.
Central:
— Southern WI and northern IL: Flood Watches continue through late this morning for excessive rainfall and the potential for rapidly rising creeks and streams. I-39, I-43, I-88, I-90, I-94 potentially impacted.
— Northwest and north-central IL along the WI border: Flash Flood Warnings and Advisories this morning. 2-5 inches of rain have fallen; less than an inch of additional rain is expected.. Flash flooding is occurring now. Seek higher ground quickly if the water is rising. Do not drive or tow across flooded roadways. I-39, I-90 impacted.
Eastern:
— Northern ME: Flood Watch this afternoon and tonight for excessive rainfall and the potential for rapidly rising creeks and small streams. I-95 potentially impacted.
— Southern New England, lower elevations of NY; NJ and southeastern PA: Hot weather today with heat indices in the upper 90’s and lower 100’s deg F.
