- Widespread high winds from Washington and Oregon, through Idaho to Montana and Wyoming today and Tuesday.
- High winds expand to the Northern and Central Plains starting Tuesday afternoon and continuing on Wednesday.
- Snow in the Cascades and moves into the mountains of Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and northeast Utah.
- A broad area of severe thunderstorm potential exists today across central/eastern Texas, and spreads east into the Lower Mississippi Valley and Southeast tonight and Tuesday.

Pacific:
— Western WA; western OR; central and eastern WA; northern ID; north-central, east-central, southeast and east-central OR; northeast CA; central and northern NV: High Wind Warnings and Advisories through tonight. Wind gusts generally 50-60 mph. Major highways impacted include I-5, I-80, I-82, I-90, US-395.
— Southwest Puget Sound WA: Flood Watch through this evening for heavy rain. I-5 potentially impacted.
— WA Olympic and Cascade Mountains of WA and OR: Winter Storm Warnings through Tuesday morning. Snow levels 2500 feet in WA, rising to 4000 feet in OR. Additional accumulations of 4-8 inches at 2500 feet and up to 2 feet at higher elevations. Winds gusting 40-50 mph. I-90 impacted.
— Southern CA Ventura and Los Angeles County Mountains: High Wind Warnings and Advisories this afternoon through Tuesday evening. Gusts 50-65mph. Winds will be strongest after this evening. I-5, I-10, US-101 impacted.
— Southern CA parts of the Mojave Desert: Wind Advisories this afternoon through Tuesday morning. Gusts to 55 mph. CA-58 impacted.
Mountain:
— MT except northeast corner of state; eastern and southern ID; most of WY; northern and central UT: High Wind Warnings and Advisories through Tuesday. Wind gusts generally 50-60 mph, except up to 75 mph in some of the normally windier areas (Livingston MT, southeast WY). I-15, I-25, I-70, I-80, I-90, I-94 impacted.
— Eastern MT; northeast WY; southwest ND; western SD; northeast and east-central CO; western NE; NM along the I-40 corridor; NM along the I-25 corridor north of Albuquerque: High Wind Watches Tuesday and Tuesday night. Gusts 60-75 mph. I-25, I-40, I-70, I-76, I-80, I-90 impacted.
— Northwest MT; western WY; northeast UT; Central CO Rockies west of I-25: Winter Storm Warnings (central ID) and Advisories through Tuesday. Snow accumulations range from a few inches below 5000 feet to 6-12 inches above 7000 feet. Winds gusting. 50-70 mph in the mountains. I-15, I-70 (CO), I-80 (UT), I-90 impacted.
Central:
— Western and south-central SD: High Wind Watch Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday evening. Gusts to 75 mph. I-90. Impacted.
— ND; SD; NE; KS; IA; western MN: Expect high winds Wednesday with gusts 45-65 mph. Warnings and advisories likely. I-29, I-35, I-70, I-80, I-90, I-94 impacted.
— Eastern TX; southern AR; most of LA; southern MS: A broad area of severe thunderstorm potential will exist through tonight. Damaging wind gusts, large to very large hail and tornadoes will all be possible. Greatest risk centered along the I-20 corridor from Dallas to Montgomery. I-10, I-20, I-30, I-45, I-49, I-55, I-59 potentially impacted.
— Northeast TX; southern AR; northern LA: Slight risk of flash flooding today and tonight from heavy rains. I-20, I-30, I-35, I-49 potentially impacted.
— Southeast LA; southern and central MS; southern and central AL; FL Panhandle: A broad area of severe-thunderstorm potential will exist on Tuesday. A swath of damaging wind gusts and several tornadoes are possible. Highest risk across southern MS, AL, GA and SC. I-10, I-12, I-20, I-55, I-59, I-65 potentially impacted.
— Southern and southeast MS; most of AL: Slight risk of flash flooding Tuesday and Tuesday night from heavy rains. I-10, I-20, I-59, I-65 potentially impacted.
Eastern:
— Southern GA, southeast SC: A swath of damaging wind gusts and several tornadoes are possible Tuesday or Tuesday night. I-16, I-26, I-75, I-95 potentially impacted.
— Most of GA, Upstate SC: Slight risk of flash flooding Tuesday and Tuesday night from heavy rains. I-16, I-20, I-26, I-75, I-85 potentially impacted.
