  • Flash flooding remains possible across portions of southwest Texas.
  • Cold front will bring strong to high winds to southeast Wyoming and a threat of severe thunderstorms to the Upper Mississippi Valley, Central and Southern Plains on Tuesday.
  • This cold front will along bring strong winds to the Northern Plains on Wednesday, and heavy rains to the Northeast by the end of the week.

Pacific:

— No significant weather impacts to RV travel today or Tuesday.

Mountain:

— MT Helena Valley: Dense Fog Advisory this morning. I-15 impacted.

— Southeast WY: High Wind Watches late tonight through Tuesday afternoon. Gusts to 60 mph. I-25 between Wheatland and Chugwater, and I-80 between Laramie and Rawlins potentially impacted.

— South-central NM: Dense Fog Advisory this morning. I-25 impacted.

Central:

— Southwest TX: Flood Watches continue through Tuesday morning. Up to 1-2 inches of rain possible with locally heavier amounts. I-10, I-20 potentially impacted.

— WI; southeast MN; IA; northwest IL; northwestern half of MO; southeast NE; eastern KS; central OK: Strong to marginally severe thunderstorms Tuesday. Damaging winds and hail are the main threats. Major highways impacted include I-29, I-35, I-39, I-40, I-43, I-44, I-70. I-74, I-80, I-88, I-90, I-94.

Eastern:

— Portions of southeast GA, northeast and north-central FL: Dense Fog Advisories this morning. I-10, I-75, I-95 impacted.

    1. Thanks! By coincidence, we were also on that section of I-80 this afternoon. Just northwest of Cheyenne for the night, heading for I-70. Hope the winds tomorrow morning won’t be too bad!
